I had recently bought a 31year VW vanagon camper. I had taken it to a my local repair shop and they weren't able to find some of the parts needed. I took it to ST and Sam said I CAN FIX IT. He did that exactly. Sam found other problems that I was unaware of and took care of them. Searching for parts internationally, he came up with what was needed. Sam ,Kevin and staff did a great job for me and I would certainly recommend them.

If I wasnt a real customer, I wouldn't take the time to review your business.You seem to be confused about google reviews... so let me help you out, Sam the scam. This is where customers review your business, not where you review customers. If you want a better reputation, stop ripping people off. Funny how that works, right?

Do not recommend!! They are charging $140 a hour for terrible work. First time I brought my car here I didn’t get it back for over 3 months! When I did get it back I had to bring it right back in 2 days later because the original issue was never fixed! Took about another month to get it back just for the original issue to never get fixed! $6000 later I get my car back for the second time to STILL HAVE THE SAME ORIGINAL ISSUE I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN FOR! The owner Sam also charged me $6000 as well as charged my extended warranty company for The same parts he was charging me for. Luckily I reached out to my warranty company in time and they sent me the $1,800 check that they were gonna send Sam (the owner of St foreign auto) for the covered parts under my warranty. I laugh as I read the reviews for ST Foreign Auto. Looks like you need to stand in back of a long line to file a complaint against these clowns.And a reoccurring theme plays constantly; another repair shop rip-off. I have nothing to add, previous former customers have said it all. I’m fairly fortunate, as he only cost me some of my valuable time , and $125 detailing as my newly painted car was left out in the weather and birds. Imagine when I had had enough of the lies and deceit, I find my beautiful car with two flat tires and dead as a door nail.After much back and forth, I was awarded the entire amount I have deposited. Advice to anyone considering repairs from Sam the Sham and his forty thieves: just don’t. But, if he smiles and tells you “I will have your baby running like new again!”, make sure to have your attorney on alert, and have all papers for small claims court ready to file. The contempt I have for this place would fill the Carrier dome. If I had the time, I would start a campaign to put this con artist out of business. Frankly, I’m surprised with all the negative experiences recorded against him, I am shocked the city of Syracuse has not shut him down. And sadly, he always has a response that makes it seem it is the customers fault.He should rename his place “Bernie Madoff Motors”.

This guy Sam is a scammer Do not take your car there I’ve taken my Audi there before and these guys made the car worse rather than fix it!! And made me pay for what they messed up on?!? Does this make sense?!? There’s a reason why Sam and SCAM rhyme!

My car was running very poorly and and had many problems. Sam is very knowledgeable on BMWs and took great pains to make things right from work done at another shop. I'm very happy to find this business and will continue to use them. My car runs like it should now !! Thanks!!

If you want to pay upfront for labor without the job even being done, this is the place to go! I was overcharged, the quality of the job was poor, and I ended up having to take it to a different mechanic for him to fix the work done by this place. It would be one thing to pay a large amount of money for a job well done, but $1700 later and I was still having problems - not to mention that the communication was poor and staff was rude. Will not be coming back.

Each time something is wrong with my car, I bring it to ST Foreign Auto. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly, do a fantastic job fixing my car, and are able to fix my car in a timely fashion for a great price. I would highly recommend ST as a place to buy a vehicle or to get your own vehicle fixed

TERRIBLE experience. I dropped my car at 9am and they told me I can get my car at noon. Once I called them in the noon they told me they need another 2 hours to complete. Again I called them at 2pm and they said their Internet crashed so they cannot do anything today. THAT IS A 60 YEARS COMPANY DID FOR THE CUSTOMER.

My boyfriend and I took our car to this shop and it was the worst service I have ever seen. They overprice and are completely rude. They also hide secret charges and don’t give info on how much they are going to charge you until after. My boyfriend was asking questions and the guy on the phone was rude and did not care about us as customers. He also hung up the phone when we were not finished with the conversation. We actually chose to take our car from this auto shop to another because of the way we were treated and overpriced! Do not take your car here.
