Excellent customer service. Exceptional help with an exchange to a better accessible van. Highly recommend this facility for their understanding.

My husband has had several vehicles (hand controls-installed)over the last 18 years . The most recent visit left us with disappointment due to the management and lack of communication and putting holes in our 2024 BMW that were 100% unnecessary. In addition, the billing is not very honest while trying to charge for work they did not do, example charging $600 to uninstall hand controls from an old vehicle (which were removed by us) prior to getting them reinstalled . I do not recommend taking any vehicle to them unless it’s a simple minivan or SUV.

The folks at United Access Syracuse have installed hand controls in three vehicles for me over the years. The latest install was quite challenging and did not meet expectations. The team at United Access evaluated the problem and went above expectations to resolve the issues. They did this with professionalism, courtesy and understanding. Great Job!

United Access in Syracuse is an absolutely great group of people!! All departments in their organization are led by people who care about the clientele as if they are family. They did things to help my wife and I that I would never have imagined that anyone would do for others. They are truly amazing people who are uniquely qualified as mobility specialists because most, if not all of them have family members with mobility needs. Therefore they know how comforting it is to have top notch professionals to assist with finding the most appropriate mobility solutions for clients. They're honest, friendly, efficient and genuine professionals. I highly recommend United Access in Syracuse to anyone that has mobility needs.

I got a nice used van from them. We love it. I did notice a cracked door flair after getting it home and called Rich at United Access and he said no problem. He said they would order a new one and replace the broken one. Great people to deal with ?

When a 40-ft tree fell on our wheelchair van we found ourselves scrambling to find a replacement. We had high hopes of getting a Silverado w/wheelchair passenger mod to replace it. Although 9 hours away from our location, Rich was able to check measurements of the truck we liked for compatibility with our particular wheelchair model, but found that -- due to 4WD -- the modification on this particular vehicle wouldn't work with our current equipment. We appreciate Rich taking the time to answer questions and research those details, and hope to some day make the trip to Syracuse to find our next ride.

I’ve been going to United Access for years, first for vehicle adaptation and then years later for some repairs related to the adaption. From my experience they are always very responsive, reliable and do good work.

Rich is a fantastic salesman to purchase from. We were looking for a Toyota sienna side entry van. And he was able to send me a few options within a few days. We chose the one we wanted. And it was shipped from Texas to his location in Syracuse, NY. When it arrived, he went through the vehicle with us to ensure we were satisfied. And it was in the condition as advertised. He was able to get the entire buying process done efficiently, even with our tight schedule. The only issue we had (not his fault) was, after a few days of driving it. It developed a clunk in the steering. I emailed Rich to let him know what was happening. He informed me about taking it to a local trusted shop to diagnose it, and it would be taken care of. After doing some research. I discovered the clunk in the steering was common on some Siennas from 2017-2020. There was a pending recall, but only for Siennas 2017- 2020. Ours was a 2015, so it wasn't effected. (Recall /19TSESS). Rich made the repair process quick, and he made sure to check up on the van after the repair. My initial rating of Rich was a 5/5, but after this repair, I rate him a 6/5. He stood behind his product and was transparent throughout the whole process. I recommend rich at United Access to anyone looking to buy a mobility product.Salesman- Rich GerthVehicle-2015 Toyota sienna XLE Premium. ~29k miles at time of purchase. (1/13/2023)
