Closed. It looks like a dirty antique shop. After seeing what it looked like, you couldn’t convince me to eat here even if they cleaned it up.

She was closed by the health dept for unsanitary conditions but continues to secretly operate when she shouldn’t be. She served me and my friend disgusting coffee with no ice and a dusty lid, and donuts that were stale and hard. She added in apples when we didn’t even ask for them and charged us $20. Completely scammed us. Avoid this place she’s crazy and meant to be closed

Despite their hours online, they are not open and are closed by the State. The door was weirdly unlocked but then we noticed the closure signage posted on the window. Hoping to save someone the time driving there by posting this!

The department of health stands in violation of their own code by keeping her closed. My recommendation is to have them come in and spect her kitchen tell her what to fix and then come back a week later to find it fixed and I'll give her another list of items to fix and at that point call the sheriff and have the department of health official arrested for violation of her constitutional right to earn a living.

Visited there to get lunch and coffee during our visit to a nearby town. When we walked up, the front door was open wide but nobody came to visit after several calls to the back. Then we saw the posting from the health department that the restaurant was closed down and left. While across the street, we noticed that they were letting people into the cafe "by appointment" via what seemed to me as "on the sly" and contrary to the posting. I wish them well, but now it seems they are only open to "special friends". The owner has posted a rebuttal telling me most of my post is a lie, but without providing her side of the "truth". The photo does not lie.

I assign a 3 giving them the benefit of the doubt as the place looks nice BUT WAS NOT OPEN as advertised when we got there. I look for unique, different types of coffee houses and cafes on our trips, and WENT OUT OF THE WAY as we traveled to the Hudson region only to find IT CLOSED when we got there although their Web page and facebook page said they were open. IF you go, CALL FIRST, so you dont waste your time and gas as we did.

The wait is worth the food. Whole foods with great flavor couldn't come in a better form for breakfast. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal here. Maggie always goes above and beyond for her customers. Thank you for always looking out Maggie. - Gary from Saugerties

Was driving through from the city and stopped at this nice little place. First impression is it’s a mom and pop place and very laid back. Looking at the menu there’s decent options for vegan which is nice for my gf. Saw the CLT(chix, lettuce, tomato) for like $17. Was like oh boy going for nyc prices. Didn’t say it came with really anything. Food came out and boy was I impressed. Got this monster sandwich with so much chicken on it. Fresh fruit, veggies, potatoes, sweet potatoes. Everything was good especially her secret sauce Maggie puts on. Everything was great. Maggie herself was there and was very friendly and greeted everyone like her own child. Finished up a little after closing and asked if I could get something to go and she said no problem. Very accommodating. She also threw in a free carrot cake brownie which was amazingly good. I would highly recommend coming here. Can’t imagine what other dish sizes would be. Staff was very friendly too.

Five stars because the owner is very friendly, and the food is quite good. But it's definitely a weird and unpredictable experience. Once it took me like 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee, but she gave me free pastries with it! Another time she seemed to be getting ready to close up, even though we were still in operating hours... but she still made a great lunch for me. I hope that this helps paint a picture so that you can go in with your expectations set correctly

The hostess was rude when she took our order. She also charged us a tip without asking if we wanted to leave a tip. I hope the business owner sees this since this is precursor to theft. If she asked us we would've left a tip but charging us without our consent is unacceptable.

Horrible food, unbelievably expensive. My pancake wasn't cooked. Who the hell eats salad and rice with breakfast? Fruit consisted of two pieces of cantaloupe. What a horrible experience

Exceptionally good food, owner was extremely kind, and the restaurant itself had a lot of personality. Would recommend to anyone in the area and heading to Hunter Mountain.

It’s hard to say if Maggie’s food or Maggie herself are the bigger star at this Catskills institution. Always a must to visit when in town or nearby. Take a seat. Take her advice on ordering. Take your time. Have a blast. It’s delicious and timeless and you won’t regret it.

Expect dishes loaded with flavor and love. My BLT was perfect and I didn’t expect seasoned veggies and fresh salad…with delicious hash browns! Maggie was so nice too. Super accommodating for our daughter’s food allergies.

Cute little gem! Character with in and genuine service Our food was delicious and healthy! We came here for brunch and would love to visit again! It was a little cold in the space but really it was cold outside too, so I'm not going to complain.
