For $200+/night it is very disappointing.
For $70/night, I can stay at Super 8 or Days Inn and have a clean room with a free continental breakfast.
For $100/night, I can stay at Choice Hotels or Best Western and get a HOT breakfast bar for free.
At Sleepy Hollow Hotel, for $200+ they want me to spend another $20, plus tip, for breakfast at their fancy-schmancy restaurant.
Now imagine, Travelling with my family of four- other restaurants and what it is worth when a hotel offers us even a modest continental breakfast versus a $100 breakfast at Sleepy Hollow.
AND THE ROOM - the room was clean, but it was small. Not any different than Super 8 once you're in the room.
So for $200+/night, you get a Super 8 quality room with no breakfast.
The staff was efficient, but not friendly.
The only reason I would stay here again is the convenience of location and lack of hotels in the area.

Wow... Our room was filthy and disappointing.
After a long drive, my husband and I just wanted a simple shower and bed, but there were all kinds of pubes, hair, dirt, dust, spiders, etc in the bathroom and main room. The tub was yellowish with streaks that looked like the off-white was just uncleaned grime. My bed sheets had holes and stains, and all kinds of mixed hair balls and short curly pube-like hairs in the sheets, and the floor (with crumbs and stuff). The window locks/latches and parts were broken too. The bathroom towels had bright orange/red stains, and overall everything felt just gross, stained, and not properly cleaned. Or you could see oil marks or streaks from other people on surfaces. This is room 202 for reference. It was also missing hand soap so I had to go to the front desk.
The rooms don't seem very accessible, but there's lots of great parking though, and the lobby was pretty. Beds were surprisingly comfy too which is why it's bumped up to 2 stars.
But that doesn't make up for the horrible room's cleanliness, and I had to clean some of it to feel comfortable.
The desk service was standard and quick, but no info like wifi, elevator access, morning check out times, etc (had to look it up online to recall).
For the price, I could've gone somewhere better that also included breakfast or something. I added some example pics of some of the stuff I talked about

We had an amazing experience! The staff was exceptionally nice and caring. The food at the grill was delicious and plentiful. Lots of variety and tasty options. We ordered some spiked drinks at the bar and it was great. The room was clean and smelled fresh. There are beautiful walkways along the Hudson River with gorgeous views!
All in all we had a beautiful time and would definitely come again.

When I woke up in the morning, my feet were covered in bug bites and itching like crazy. In a room I paid nearly $180 for, there wasn’t even complimentary water available.

Awful, disgusting, and no working AC. This place needs a remodel as soon as possible. The ownership couldn't care less about this place; they are just trying to squeeze the towel and get as much out of it as they can. The staff couldn't care less about you here either. This place needs to be shut down or sold again.

This was a terrible stay, dirty room, sheets did not feel clean, plus got bitten by bed bugs. The whole hotel felt grimy, never again staying here.

It is the worst hotel I have ever been to
First you don't feel comfortable when you arrive
Second, the door to the room does not work, how safely do you leave your personal items in the room?
Third, the pool is out of service! You don't even have water? They should notify you that the pool is not working either.
Fourth, you find garbage in all the corridors you walk through.
Open rooms under maintenance
I really don't understand why they have almost 4 stars if it has nothing to offer
It really seems like it is a hotel with old facilities under renovation
What a pity

Very Dissatisfied with this Hotel..
I had to book one year in advance , because of a Family wedding that Happened to be on memorial Day weekend!
not only did they charge me a year early, but when we got to Hotel we were not told there was No AC, Hot water..
Obviously not much time or availabilty to change hotels, we had to stay.
There was not a manager at hotel and we were told that they couldnt get it fixed. Hot water came back but AC did not. We drove 22 hours and did not want to repack all our things and we stayed.
I asked many times to speak with manager and the desk reply was .."They will call you in 5 mins" Ha.. no calls.
last day same thing happened.. I have tried to get $ back from AMEX and there reply was.. "no can do .. do to 60 days over due..
wel I booked it over a year in advance so How can I hold to that..
needless to say 3 night stay turned out to be $688.00.
I am so dissapointed.. no calls, cant reach anyone..all they cared about was there SHABBA retreats every weekend.. Ha maybe they turned their AC off purposely... RIP OFF and very old Hotel that they did not mention also was being renavated .. smelled of mold, Doors were opened all day to outside, breakfast was a 3 egg omlette for $28.00.. My loss, How can a hotel be so awful????

Odd experience. For orthodox retreats, I'm sure it's great. Beds were uncomfortable, floors were vinyl, bathroom smelled awful. Thin walls; we heard our neighbors clearly. 2 coffee packs for 2 people, 3 nights (and no free coffee in the lobby). Lobby decor extremely odd and uncomfortable. Pro's: Fabulous water pressure, great pillows, superb/convenient location. Right off highway, close to Riverwalk, town, Lyndhurst, etc.
Rooms: No carpet or rugs. Large room. Beds awful. Small step up to bathroom.
Walkability: Nice property but drive to town (busy road).
Food & drinks: Breakfast only.
