If you are in Terrytown, go to this store. Ms. Connie is the life of the store and Main Street (PERIOD). She is very knowledgeable and a beautiful bright soul. We had to find something to buy just because of her.

An amazing collection of antiques and mid-century/modern design, including pottery, paintings, sculpture, collectibles, lighting, furniture and more. All reasonably priced.

Customer service is lacking. The man working the store, presumably the owner, spoke negatively about the town we lived in and did not provide assistance in retrieving boxes that were needed for our items. Would rather support business owners who are proud to be part of the community and don't treat customers with a sour attitude.

Although we didn't catch his name, the man working this shop was funny and very helpful. When we mentioned that we were out-of-towners, he gave us lots of good suggestions to visit and eat at. His store had a lovely feel to it, full of beautiful antiques. And the black dog was the best greeter around. I definitely recommend visiting here!

The only good thing in this store was the black dog which was thankfully friendlier than the owner. Should you an item that maybe at best is worth $100, he wants $700. Most of the furniture belongs curbside along with this guy's attitude.

The current owner, Michael, is knowledgeable and engaging...the best owner yo deal with however is, Daniel; he's better on his feet and when he stretches out on the cane daybed you know you've found a true friend ...ruff!

Many many chairs. In a pile. So sad for the chairs. They might be nice but they are just all on top of each other. Lots of books. Some art. Very dusty. Some interesting pieces that would be perfect on the set of a movie or t v show. Maybe that's really her clientele.

The shop owner was extremely rude. I walked in the other weekend on vacation with my daughter and I was interested in buying several items. The shop owner was carrying on a very long and drawn out conversation with a customer, presumably a friend. I waited for them to finish their conversation but after waiting 15 minutes I felt I had waited long enough and politely asked if I could look at an item in one of the curio cabinets. The owner very rudely said "I will be with you in a minute. Just so you know, those items are verrry expensive." She then proceeded to continue on with her conversation with the other woman, completely ignoring me and my daughter. She insinuated that I could afford the items in the curio cabinet and I found that to be extremely disrespectful. At that moment I decided she was not worthy of my money or my time and we walked out. I will not be talked down to. You don't know me. You don't know what I can afford and you certainly had no respect for my time or wanted my business. Buyer beware. The owner will treat you like dirt and act like she is above you. Do not bother wasting your time or money here.

Rude, not once but three separate visits. Guess clientele is just a huge bother.

My husband and I just moved to the area and are looking for furniture (we came with the bare minimum). We visited Tarrytown and went in to this store because we liked what we saw in the window. We were welcomed by a nice lady behind the counter, but the man who worked there, who may have been the owner, looked at us and our baby stroller without speaking. I quickly realized that the stroller wasn't going to fit past the first pieces of furniture, and my husband asked if he could slide a chair over. I completely understand that he wouldn't want us moving things, and if he had said just that, we would have looked around in shifts as weve learned to do now that we have a baby. But instead, the rude little man said in a tone like venom "the stroller doesn't fit in the store". I wish I could transmit the tone through typing - it was enough that the other two ladies in the shop were visibly shocked as well. He must have thought that being a mother not only makes me an "undesirable" in his store, but also makes me stupid because when I confronted him he acted like he'd said nothing out of the ordinary. I promptly left, and won't be going back. I hope no one ever spoke to his mother that way...
