Outstanding attention to customer needs and dedicated, quality work. Luis has broad skills as a handyman combined with strong communication skills and a proactive approach. So far, over two days, Luis has worked 10 hrs and covered many more jobs than either of our two previous handymen. For instance, approaching an interior wiring safety task (wire running under door) he suggested a conduit product to buy at local Home Depot and came prepared with item at start of work time. There is absolutely no prolonging of tasks to increase number of hours billed. Scope of work including a ceiling light installation, re caulking in bath and kitchen, installation of bathroom hardware - he took care to follow customer requests on mounting location and used leveller to ensure horizontal placement where requested. Works well following customer guidance and isProactive in seeking feedback or making suggestions where appropriate.

We needed a new sink and faucet for our kitchen. The Smart Handyman came to the rescue and took care of our problem. The most incredible thing is that the work was done on a Sunday, the only day in which my wife and could be at home. We are extremely satisfied and plan to use the Smart Handyman Service for out next repairs.

Luis & Eduardo did a terrific job repairing our kitchen shelves/cabinet unit, adjusting kitchen hanging light fixture, assembling 2 storage units for our roof deck, & putting up hooks in kitchen for lighting fixture. Grade A+. Will definitely be using Luis again for additional work when needed.Service: General repairs

Luis and his crew did a great job with interior and exterior painting. They fixed siding, replacing worn shingles, and performing minor deck repairs, as well, within a very reasonable budget and short timeframe. Luis is also a very good handyman as we called him to replace a broken toilet which he completed very promptly. He’s my go to for anything house repair related!Services: Exterior decorating

I made an appointment with Luis weeks an advance of a date when I was planning on having guests over to my home. I needed furniture installed, shelving installed, many items hung on the wall, etc. in order to make it possible for my home to be put together and ready for the guests to come visit. Luis and I spoke over the phone and discussed all the details of the job and he gladly accepted and scheduled the job. Luis gave me a quote, scheduled the job, and we confirmed the address over text after the conversation. On the morning of the job I texted him to confirm and he claimed that he forgot about the job because he misplaced his phone. I tried to call him many times to discuss and instead he ignored my calls and texted me saying that he will do the job another day. I asked him to call me many times and finally he did and I explained that I am very busy, scheduled this time with him and scheduled around it and have guests coming to stay and needed the furniture to be assembled today so that they would be able to stay with us. He said he would come over and do the job. When he got here he said that he had a truck and there wasn’t parking and that I can find someone else to do the job and that he was leaving. That is a lie because my own building’s parking garage has two entrances side by side, one for cars and one for trucks. I texted and called him many times and he did not answer and sent me to voicemail over and over again. He never answered me again.Services: TV mounting

Luis and his team showed up on time and installed base moulding in my basement and library. Luis also replaced the kitchen sink incinerator. If I could rate Luis as a zero I would have. I hired him to perform handyman work on a home I was selling. His truck broke down and never called me to cancel or reschedule or send a replacement. I took a day off work and waited for him. NEVER schedule him as he is not respectful to his customers.!

I needed a painter last minute, in a rush and Luis was able to get a crew over and paint everything perfectly starting same day. Excellent job, great value and took the time to pay attention to details and filled in spots needed for me. I would absolutely recommend him for any job!

We called Smart Handyman when our chimney cap was hanging off our chimney on a Saturday morning. Louis request we send him a photo so he could assess the work. Within seconds he replied advising that he could do the work and his team arrived in 15 minutes! They did a wonderful and thorough job. We will definitely contact them for other projects!

Luis helped me remodel my bathroom. He changed all the tiles, took out the old sink and installed a new one with a mirror and vanity, replaced my shower and toilet. Luis was very polite and professional. He came the same day I called him to give me an estimate and completed the work very quickly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a handyman.
