This T-Mobile store in Tarrytown is managed by an absolute jerk of a manager, Elias, who hired two completely incompetent junior people who need to ask him every single question while he leaves the store early. When I came into this store for the first time, Elias acted as if he couldn't be bothered, and in fact, left the store early soon after. I was left to deal with one of his junior staff, a woman so incompetent she literally called Elias the second he left the shop and stayed on her cell with him THE ENTIRE TIME she was "working" on my phone because she obviously barely knows how to do anything. Elias was on the line the entire time telling her every step of what she needed to do -- and they still left me hanging for a long time. On top of it all, Elias is a massive jerk in person, with a huge "you bug me, get out of my face" kind of energy for everybody. If Elias hates his job and the rest of humanity, he should quit and find a job where he doesn't have to interact with human beings. And if T-Mobile wants to improve their #3 position in the market, they sure aren't doing well with jerks like Elias and his crew running the Tarrytown store. Save yourself time and aggravation! Find another T-Mobile store for whatever you need

Manny and Esmerelda from the Tarrytown NY location did a 10/10 job. I transferred 4 lines from Verizon and got 4 new phones. They treated me so well and I really appreciated all of their time and assistance getting my plan set up.

Esmeralda is awful!!!! I went to the store to order a new phone, with a trade of $350 for my old phone, she just started to change my service plan. And I told her right away I didn’t want to change my plan or increase my monthly bill but keep my plan of $140/month with some other discounts that I have. She changed the all story, she gave me a promotion of $1000 for the trade, and told me that my monthly bill would be $133. INCORRECTWhen I got home I called T-Mobile and they said in order to get that promotion I needed to change my plan for Go5G Plus ($243.33) or Go5G Next ($333.33) and these plans include all discounts and promotions. I canceled the order and the plan that Esmeralda persuade me to get and I bought the phone online, I kept the same plan $140 plus discounts) and got the $350 for the trade. I don’t understand how this woman still works for T-Mobile? She has so many bad reviews and bad reputation!! BE AWARE OF THIS WOMAN.

According to the reviews, this store doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Anyway, I walked into this store yesterday at 2pm. All I needed was to reactivate my line because when I went on vacation, my service cut off…Esmeralda the store manager, reactivated the line then told me I would save $10 a month on my bill if I did autopay. So I agreed and she signed me up. This ….. for lack of a word at all, added a data line to my account WITHOUT my permission. Charging me $10 a month instead saving me $10 a month. The audacity of this woman to stand there and do this without my permission is beyond me. Who is her boss? Thats the person I would like to speak to. I know she doesn’t own the store so who is allowing this woman to get away with transactions like these? I used to work for Sprint which is the only reason I have this line. I have never added another line on my account in 8 years so who does this woman think she is? I only have tmobile because of the shift from Sprint. Maybe its time to leave this company with its terrible service and even more terrible employees. I already called tmobile and had the line removed and the autopay taken off. All the “work” you did to gain this line was for nothing Esmeralda. So much desperation to get a line for such a small bonus pay…

Short version: One employee gave me false information so I would add lines to my account. It didn't work out the way she said, I returned the phones (still mint) and closed the lines within a week and the manager refused to waive the restocking fee.Long Version: On 2/27 In-store Rep: Odiezan says I can open two lines + free phones and WILL be able to bring in two outside lines to those phone numbers. A week later and after 3 attempts T-mobile customer service says that bringing in the other numbers won't work because of the promotion and the numbers being from a T-Mobile account. 3/7 I go to the store and between Rep: Albert and Manager: Esmeralda I'm told that if I cancel the lines, I will lose any and all other promotions on my account. I had to call customer service to verify that that's a lie. Manager: Esmeralda says that I have to pay a restocking fee. I said that I signed up for these lines based on what their Rep: Odiezan assured me would work out and to otherwise comeback for a return; my thoughts are I shouldn't have to pay for buying something based on false information when I clearly explained the situation before the transaction. Manager Esmeralda first says that that employee no longer works there..... I gave her a 'look' and said: "After six days of me opening the lines?!". Then Manager Esmeralda says that she knows this employee and that she knows the promotions very well and wouldn't have said that... The store kept the $140 for restocking fees but throughout most of this T-Mobile customer service was listening on the line and 'made it right' on their end. While in-store they were all super polite and cordial while scamming / robbing me for the fee... Thanks for that - there's your one star review.Lesson learned: T-Mobile stores and T-Mobile customer service are two very separate things. Maybe because phone calls can be recorded and reviewed as opposed to in-store where they can say whatever they want to convince you and change the story later; I don't know. Corporate if you're listening (reading): maybe a little re-training or closer eye on stores?

Went in this morning because my touch screen stopped working. I'm 40+ weeks pregnant and need my phone working these days. The woman helping me, well i don't want to say helping because she didn't help at all. Well she was really really awful to be honest. she told me that because i dropped the phone is messes up the software and if I can't factory re-set it she can't help me, she even turned away my business by telling me to go to a fix it store to have it re-set. My husband went down once i got home and had the same experience- at least my husband got the number for our insurance from her so we could get it replaced online.but she was very UNHELPFUL and unwilling to help. Won't be going back to this T-Mobile again!

World Class. As a recovering ex-Verizon customer, the bar had been set very low regarding customer experience. The Tarrytown Store is clean and open. Very inviting. But the staff really the space welcoming. Will(Mary) and Ezmerelda greeted me warmly and took care of all of my service needs. It is refreshing to see authentic smiles these days. My day was already amazing and yet somehow, they made it unbelievably better. I switched from Verizon, after 30 years of unrequited loyalty two months ago and have already referred my parents. Everything about T-Mobile is better. The customer service, the store design, the PEOPLE, the Plans. You get more for your money and the amount of headaches you save is PRICELESS! Stop in and see Will and Ezmerelda for any of your device needs or if you just want to have a better day!
