I have been a customer of Walgreens for more than a decade. I’ve been in the Tarrytown area supporting a family member through long term medical care. This Walgreen Pharmacy staff is remarkable. Knowledgeable, communicative, pleasant, and helpful. Every Walgreens, every retail store, should follow their example for exemplary customer service. Brava, and thank you!

Was here to get Sudafed (which was only available at the pharmacy), the woman at the pharmacy was rude from the get-go. She asked for my ID which I had accidentally left in the car. I told her I would be right back as I would go grab it. I was gone for less than two minutes, and they closed the pharmacy on me. Very rude & unprofessional. Would not recommend this Walgreens to anyone!

Definitely do not use this location, pharmacy people all young laughing and joking no customers.I had. 4 pm appointment but came at 3pm due to the weather getting bad, they refused to take me early even though no one was there and were very rude. I will no longer spend a dime at Walgreens Tarrytown from now on I will use CVS.

Pharmacist was so rude and unprofessional, I feel compelled to write a review. The interaction left me feeling sub-human. This is not my home pharmacy, but I tried to fill my script here today. Due to travel plans, i have permission from my doctor to fill my script a few days early. Pharmacist refused, because she didn't believe my "story." Obviously that alone is frustrating, but I'm writing this review because of the way she spoke to me. She seemed determined to uncover a nefarious motive behind my desire to fill my script early. She did not allow me to explain, interrupted me when i tried, and even made fun of me when she heard my voice crack, as i started to panic from the stress of her interrogation. When i told her that yes, i was having a panic attack, she sneered that in that case, I should call back later, after I'd done some breathing and "calmed myself down." Apparently, crying in response to this situation seemed abnormal to her, which further undermined my credibility. In fact, she was the reason i was crying!! I'm shocked to have been treated so harshly in a care setting! I will never go here again, and i hope others take care before choosing this place as their preferred pharmacy.

It used to be a very good Rite Aid back in the day. I see it changed to Walgreens which I don't care to go to at all. There always seems to be very disrespectful employee's at Walgreens stores. It's rare if you find one with nice employee's there. To bad the Rite Aid left. ?

I had a similar experience to another reviewer- they dropped my son's prescription with no explanation. I called my son's physician twice- on their end the prescription was sent. They refused to give me a pill or two to hold him over and also said that even if the doctor sent over the prescription right now it would take them two hours to fill it. (WHY?) They randomly closed a few days prior for no reason so I couldn't pick it up then. I went to another location the following day that was closed. And of course it's an emergency and they can't fill the prescription. I went to cvs and it was filled immediately. Never going here again. The manager Lisa was extremely unpleasant and unwilling to help.

after visiting a friend nearby i made a quick pit stop at walgreens in tarrytown before heading to white plains and overall its a basic decent walgreens. large free parking lot that shares space with other shops and its safe and well lite. inside walgreens its the typical walgreens stuff and pharmacy is closed which is ok cause i dont need anything thing from pharmacy dept. picked up the important items like ice cream , diet pepsi , paper towels , lactose free milk and frosted flakes cereal, ok maybe the paper towels is the only important item on my list but i will still enjoy the other goodies much more . no one excluding the walgreens staff is here as i get rung up by the nice lady and 24 bucks later its time to hit the road .
