Everything about this hotel was great except the elevators. They have touch screens on the outside and no buttons inside. Twice i accidentally touched floor 8 and once in the elevator i could not change it to floor 5. I had to get out of the elevator and then select the correct floor. I don't like elevators to begin with. I would not go back to this hotel just for that reason. If Marriott does this to all their hotels i would avoid the brand. the touch screens had fingerprints and smudges all over them. Probably the worst elevator design I have ever seen.

Globally, I've stayed at more Marriotts than I can remember, and this is one of my favorites - a balance of traditional and modern, with an ideal combination of onsite amenities and conveniences for a business traveler.

The tub in my room was not all that clean. This is my only complaint. The waitress in the am for breakfast was amazing .

Room is clean, but barely any hot water in the shower and service for breakfast is terrible.

My room was nice and clean. However, very disappointed by the breakfast. Breakfast was served at the bar/restaurant. I ordered some food, juice and coffee. I waited at least 20 min before my juice and coffee arrived. In the meantime, not even water was offered to me. I sat at a table that was available but had dirty cups and dirt from those who had had breakfast before me. The waiter who took my order completely ignored the fact that I had dirty stuff in front of me and could barely put my arms on the table. I asked him if he could take it away for me and he didn't until he brought me coffee 20 min later and only because I asked him again and he forgot to take everything anyways. He cleaned the crumbs by passing his hand over the table and throwing them on the floor. He finally brought me food after about 30 min, but without bringing me the cutlery. I assumed that he would have return with the cutlery shortly but he did not. I look at him and he was already doing something else. I had to get up and go ask him for cutlery so I could eat.

Beautiful rooms, but rude breakfast staff. My fiancée and I asked to sit at the breakfast restaurant and have a cappuccino. The rude host told us to get a cup and fill it up ourselves. He also gave other hotel guests a hard time, and the restaurant wasn’t busy.Excellent rooms, perfect location, but unsavory service

Everything was outstanding esp the hotel staff. Our glass door had a draft or I would have rated a 5 star. Super great restaurant I the hotel and walk over to Ruth Chris, but the hotel food was excellent.

We weee staying there for a wedding. So we spent one night there and all was fine. Only issue was that the heat in our room wouldn’t turn down. Was stuck on high. I think the temp got up to 80 something at 3 am. That’s when wife had to call and maintenance came to fix it. It was fixed I suppose but with no windows to cool it off. Was a slow process. Other than that was generally fine.

This hotel has potential after renovations are complete I think but right now more of a construction zone and definitely needs updating and not very close to other places to eat/visit outside the hotel restaurants. We also had issues with transportation that was supposed to be coming from hotel and also getting through to hotel via phone.

My wife and I stayed here for New Year's Eve. Although they were renovating the hotel the service was exceptional. We appreciate the complimentary coffee, tea, apple cider, cookies, free cork screw and dining. Room service was on point for our needs and everyone was friendly and professional. It was a fair distance to local shopping and restaurants. We'd come back again.

I have been a long time customer of Marriott especially this location. I had my sweet 16 there about 5 years ago, but my stay last week had to be the worst experience I have ever had. Charging full price for a hotel under renovation with no preface that the hotel was under construction is just upsetting to see from a marriott. It is one thing having the hotel under construction but eliminating the ability to use the amenities and charging full price to stay is absurd. and even if some of the amenities were available the staff I encountered did not express that at all. As someone who grew up in the Westchester area I understand how people from NY act but the customer service I received at this hotel was outrageous. Now I am sure that my experience does not account for the plenty of gracious and nice people that work at this location but the cross section I came in contact with was very disappointing. Greeted with a “yeah, what do you want” when my mother called the front desk to ask a question once. As well as going to purchase some snacks and being completely ignored for 5 minutes by the individual who would complete our purchase. Just to name a couple of our experiences. I’ve always loved the Marriott and am exited to see what the hotel looks like after the renovations are complete, but don’t see myself returning as a customer anytime soon or period.
