My husband just visited a Thornwood UPS store to get a document notarized and encountered an appalling experience. The owner was not only rude and dismissive, but openly racist in his behavior. He outright refused to help, showing zero professionalism or basic decency. Shocked by the treatment, my husband went to our town hall instead, where they kindly notarized the document—free of charge and with complete courtesy.
My advice to everyone in the area : skip the Thornwood UPS store and go directly to your town office for notary services. You’ll be treated with the respect everyone deserves.

Went to the store for Notary. Quick and efficient. I have been there many times for Amazon returns. I have never encountered negative experience there. Having that type of store is big plus for our neighborhood.

Quick and easy drop off location, especially for Amazon returns. Even around the holidays when the line is out the door, they move really quickly and it never takes more than 15 minutes for you to get from the end of the line to the counter.

Everytime I visit this establishment, the man has an incredibly poor attitude, and can't seem to be bothered to help without showing some level of displeasure. The co-owner, who I presume is his wife, is quiet and likely defeated by his 24/7 grumpiness.
While I do not usually write reviews, this latest encounter did it for me. I went in with a prepaid, packaged label and everything. It was a simple drop-off. However, I noticed that one end of my parcel was slightly open. I asked him if he could tape it shut just to be sure. I kid you not, he responds with "I will give you this one piece of tape. You can close it yourself." When I asked why the one miniscule piece of tape, he simply said "I'm not giving you any more than this." Is this the UPS Store, or are customers put on rations? While I was able to tape that end of my parcel, it was by no means secure, but this man could not care less and just threw the parcel into the shipping area. Is the UPS Store that stingy on a few pieces of tape or is it just this location?
Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. Terrible customer service, terrible attitude, and terribles vibes all around. Visit the FedEx and USPS locations nearby instead of this dump.
