Oogie Games in Tonawanda offers a mix of experiences for customers looking for retro video games. Many reviews highlight that the store has fair prices and is willing to negotiate, often providing better deals than online options. The shop is particularly praised for its excellent Black Friday and holiday deals, making it a good spot for retro enthusiasts and collectors. However, there are mixed feelings about the store's atmosphere and cleanliness; some customers find it a bit dingy and messy, which detracts from their shopping experience.
The selection can be hit-or-miss, with some consoles well-stocked while others are sparse. While some customers appreciate the helpful information on backward compatibility for games, others have noted that the staff could be more welcoming. A few negative experiences, such as issues with returns and trades, have been mentioned, but overall, customers report mostly positive experiences. Oogie Games is recognized for its good selection of titles, especially for Xbox 360 and original games, and customers often leave feeling satisfied with their purchases.
Awesome little retro gaming place. Great prices on some great memory provoking games! Will be back many times for certain!

Had an amazing time at Oogies Aquarium. Drove all the way from Canada to see the fish game selection. PS1, PS2 sadly didn't see any PS3 fish games. Would have been a great experience, but nobody greeted us when we came in, I think they were feeding all the fish.
