This place is a waste of tax payer dollars. They cater to providing free meals to pensioned seniors who are more than able to provide for themselves while merely giving a tent and two bus passes to women trying to escape domestic violence. Just another example of how our funds are being misspent. The outreach team seems negligent in being able to provide any assistance for individuals in bad family situations seeking respite and shelter. More canned and shelf stable food for people who are already obese and could go without a meal or two. Another leach in the system. Thank you for leaving me high and dry in my time of need! Snack packs are unhealthy and mostly loaded with carbohydrates. The way the Veterans openly discuss and relegate the female help in the diner is despicable. Oh how our country has fallen.

Tried to go there and get a food box and they were horribly rude to my sister and myself told us that we couldn't sign in because they were too busy just so we would leave and they could do less work they claim to be a religious organization but this is not how I imagined they would treat others

2/26/2024- I mustered the courage to ask for help at local food pantry 46 broad Street Tonawanda and was refused. Desk lady stood at door not allowing us into building asking what zip code we lived in, 14150! She said they did not serve Buffalo. I truly don't know what the issue was but all my daughter and i were trying to do was get a little help with food. We were treated so poorly and we still left hungry, shame on the salvation army and this lady.

This particular location had a community dinner. Great food. Served hot. Full house. Experienced in serving swiftly. Awesome salad fixings, including blackberries and sliced strawberries. Donations happily accepted. Worth it!

Staff is rude and not knowledgeable about their own services. Does not speak English. Liars. Refused to escalate the call to someone who does know what they are talking about. Hung up on me, called me names. Broad st location. Niagara county is a joke all together

Since Covid they give out food daily on weekdays. I was expecting 1 bag of food and ended up being very surprised that I got a trunk full of food. The workers there are very friendly. You receive fresh produce, Meats, Dairy, and non-perishable items. You can go 1 time monthly.

The new Major and his wife are so friendly. Miss the old one but I think they will do a great job here. And the people that help out at the food bank are awesome

Hi you may want to post that your location is closed on your website. Due to your site saying your open you have a huge pile of donations in the front of the store. I guess it should be common sense that your closed due to pandemic.I was aggravated that I packed my car full& drove out.I personally did not leave my donations.During this challenging time my complaint is not really valid .Shame on me. Thanks for hearing me.
