This restaurant is a joy, a real local gem producing a standard of food as good as any of the top places you’d find in the city. Maria takes care of every guest with warmth and a passion for Odo’s experience. Finally the team were great and super accommodating of our visit with two little ones. Book ahead!

Too loud. The server rushed us, barely giving my friend time to put down her coat and look at the menu to take the order. We tried ordering apps and wanted to order entress afterward and were told it all had to be ordered together. The food was ok, some things were better than others. Couldn't hear my dining companion because music was too loud, and then people had to talk too loudly over music, making it unnecessarily loud. When 2 different tables had a birthday, they flickered the lights and played music really loudly. I didn't know I was dining at TGIFs. The food wasn't bad, although the server, when she would come by, would say, "How is everything? Delicious? " Uh, are you asking me or telling me. If I could have had a quieter experience, I would probably give a better review.

Small cozy little restaurant with amazing food and great service. Such a great experience! My sister and I came to celebrate our husbands’ birthdays and the Sunday dinner at ODO was amazing. Maria made sure we were taken care of. She was very attentive and so welcoming. Like going to your family’s house for dinner. Everything was spectacular. The homemade mozzarella and focaccia bread. The mustard greens were amazing! The ribeye was ridiculous! Seriously so tender you didn’t need a knife and the sauce was delicious too. We enjoyed the food, the attention and nice warm atmosphere. Cannot wait to return.Vegetarian options: Mustard greens, pesto pasta, brocollini with pumpkin purée

Great food! Very authentic. I miss the Cacio and Pepe pasta with shaved truffle that they used to have. But I just went back and tried the Lumache, which was amazing!! The scarpetta bread and vesta sauce is the most amazing flavor I have ever had! Others in my party enjoyed their food and especially loved the bodega salad.

We made a reservation prior for 8:30 pm. When we get there at 8:30 they tell us the table is still in use and we have to wait. 45 minutes later we get a call saying the table is ready. Definitely don't recommend - recommendation isn't even worth making!

First time and i must say this place is uniquely great. Nice atmosphere w/ great italian food. Not the typical italian but maintained the excellent quality w/ a touch of magic. The chef puts a nice twist on sauces that make the dishes pop. A must if ur looking for a unique meal. The shrimp and the focaccia apps were delicious. The pasta w/ lamb meatballs and the halibut mains ?

I recently held a private event at Odo and couldn't not be happier with EVERYTHING! The atmosphere, food, service, and the entire planning process was incredible. I will absolutely be hosting events there in the future, and will be going for dinner in between! Service: Maria and Nick are an incredible team. They worked with me to plan a menu that even included a new dish for them, and curated cocktails too. At the event, Maria was a natural and so intuitive with her help. She made sure everyone was taken care of with food, and made special moments of the event even more special (like playing "Here Comes The Sun" at the perfect time in a speech!) Food: DELICIOUS! Chef Nick made homemade mozzarella (and let us sample some before plating!) which was incredible. Another highlight was the Cacio e Pepe that was cooked in a cheese wheel! My favorite was the antipasto sampler - marinated vegetables, delicious cheeses, house made focaccia and house made prosciutto. It was devoured!I wish I could give more stars for Odo - it is amazing!

First time going there and didn't expect to pay hundred dollars on one plate of steak that has too much fat and tasteless. They also charge credit card fees on the payment. Beware of the MP market steak or anything else that doesn't have price on the menu. Overall disappointed!

This place is a GEM. Cozy spot inside, and often full, so book in advance. They have 6 seats at the bar near the kitchen, which is also a great spot for dining and watching the BOH staff work on your delicious dishes. Some favorites that are not to be missed, IMO, are the speducc (little cubes of lamb that are grilled on skewers sprinkled with flaky salt, and the aglio e olio.) It's almost impossible for me to try other things because these two dishes are so good. But the rest of the menu is fantastic, including the Cacio e pepe palotte, house-cured prosciutto, the Cotoletta (pounded, breaded, fried cutlet), scarpetta, and a fantastic steak. Dan and Maria, who are often in the FOH or behind the bar, are as gracious as they come. A place where you'll feel like family and decide to have another drink to stay just a bit longer.

With two small kids, we finally managed to set up a night to try this place that's had a lot of local buzz. We were pleased to find that it lived up to the hype. We tried lamb skewers and the focaccia as appetizers, and we each had one of the specials - truly elevated Italian fare and not your typical dishes. Drinks were equally good, and we found the service was attentive and accommodating. All in all, we'll definitely be back and hope Odo will be here for a long time to come.

I almost don't want to do a good review, because this is a hard reservation to get! Great food and service that's different than the run of the mill parmigiana Italian.
