I have been a city bus driver in Utica for almost 20 years. I love the Dari-Del in East Utica! The folks are all so friendly, so helpful and accommodating! Their sub sandwiches are great! The rolls are amazing and they don't use cheap ingredients or skimp on the sandwich. The fish fries, on Friday, ALL YEAR LONG, are the best in town! Believe me, I've eaten most of the other ones. They also do a fish sub sandwich with all kinds of toppings that is amazing! Small Town USA store with a local flare that just can't be beat!

A very pleasant pit stop. Great place to get gasoline, coffee, lottery ticket and a bite to eat. It is also a GREAT PLACE to get milk as their milk is very high quality dairy milk that is in the same league with Stewart's and Byrne Dairies.

This is the only game in town for this area. Located on a convenient corner near Masonic home. Decent hot food and a good variety of lottery tickets. Gas is a little bit expensive but what the heck can you say.

UTICA, N.Y. - Dari Del Inc. must pay a farm worker $30,000 to settle a lawsuit over pay and housing, according to the Worker Justice Center of New York. George Hatfield II took legal action against the company after he says he worked 85 hours per week and was paid less than $3 per hour, which violates the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. "We're thrilled that Dari Del will have to pay Mr. Hatfield what he is owed for his hard work," said John Marsella, senior staff attorney with the Worker Justice Center of New York. "It's outrageous that any company would withhold lawful pay from an employee." The lawsuit also claimed that Dari Del provided hazardous housing to Hatfield, his wife and their young children. The housing was found to be in violation of the New York Real Property Law.

I come here regularly, especially during the summer always greeted by either a young man, middle aged man, young lady or one of the twins. They're always upbeat and keep a clean store. Fresh delicious subs, pretty good pizza, and I especially love their ice cream! Overall a great little stop locally owned! Keep on Dari Del!
