I started my story under Walmart. On Aug.4. a greeter chased me to my car to get back a motorized cart. I was made to feel very uncomfortable by this man, who stood there not helping me put things away. On Aug. 5, it was just the opposite, I was at Hannaford, at my car with the motorized cart. This man came up to me and said Hello, how are you and I told him what happened yesterday. He was helping me put groceries into my car and he said, "Be sure to say that Hannaford doesn't do that. I told him, Look for himself on yelp-a very nice man. His name is Anthony. He said we don't do that at this hannaford. i believe him.

I love this store. The people are amazing, friendly and welcoming. I go there weekly.well stocked. Plenty of great bargains everyday. Produce department I love. Great deals.

I tried using their online service to get a prescription transferred from another part of the state to Hannaford they never replied to my phone calls they never responded to my emails the online site is a joke

Bad service. Wife was doing self check out and needed help with an item. She asked a store associate that was attending the self checkout area for help. The store associate response was "oh my god". It seems like she was in a bad mood. My wife assumed that this was directed towards her so she had a talk with her. The store associate did not try to deescalate the situation or clarify who the attitude was directed towards. The associate ended with "you can go now". We then talked to the manager and the manager's response was "I'll handle my employee. It must have been miscommunication. Let's all be adults" Even if there was a miscommunication, there was no effort to make that known. I don't believe in the customer is always right, but I do believe there is a certain amount of professionalism you have to show when dealing with customers. Telling a customer that they can leave now rather than trying to resolve the problem is not professional. Telling a customer that they should act like adults is not professional.

The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my time shopping. All the cakes looked delicious and I had some help from some wonderful employees at the bakery section.
