We went to the shelter originally to meet a different dog but after some confusion regarding what dogs are safe for what scenarios, we were able to meet a beautiful 7 yr old Husky named Balto. While he can be a handful and is still working on his abandonment issues, he has really taken to our family.I want to shout-out the team caring for him during his time in the shelter. He is such a a sweet and funny boy. We couldn't imagine our family without him.Thank you for all you do!

The two ladies upfront should NOT be greeting people. No personable at all . Almost to the point they were rude

Horrible adopting system my dog is scare of everything until she get used to others and because she was scared when she met holly they said it wasn’t a good match which i think is ridiculous my baby is turning 2 on the 22 and holly is only 2 month . I don’t think that was a bad meet it takes time. Also they had a terrible attitude and the two ladies in the front look like they hate being there , like life stinks . Poor litter babies in there i dont think this ladies like animals at all

Unfortunately I had to have my sweet girl kitty cremated due to cancer. The older female clerk wasn't too caring nor nice but the woman who took my cat was kind and compassionate. I will say it stinks to high hell in the hallway. As soon as I opened the door it hit me and I felt nauseous instantly. I wish I could post more stars but a bit of cleaning would be helpful.

They were a god send to my family at the time of my loss for my ? lady. Very professional and reasonable for her to be cremated..

Let us bond with a kitten for 30-45 mins. Gave us an application to fill out and bring in the next day. Put pending adoption on the kitten. When we came back in the next day they had gotten rid of the kitten from right under our feet. The lady’s response was “you didn’t put in an application” but was rushing us out the door after letting us bond with the kitten stating “we close soon” and asked we returned with the application the next day. Will never do business with this poorly ran place. I feel sorry for those animals stuck in there with those people.

Really appreciated the low income affordable neuter/spay option you used to offer. I just saved two cats and was hoping to utilize the program :’(I give a 3 stat because you’re still a no kill shelter which is nice but you could save more animals and prevent over population of baby kittens by bringing back the option for those who find and take in strays. Maybe one day you’ll reimplement.

Liked the idea I could check out the dogs. Didn't like the fact that I was told I had to bring in my other 2 dogs for a meet with the new pup. Finding a new pup was an awful experience with every place we went to.

I filled out an application for a dog. Simba. Beautiful dog that has some minor problems. Was called the next day to schedule a meet and greet. I arrived, and spent an hour with the dog and the staff. Everything went great. Scheduled a 2nd meet, because Simba would need a few meets before being released, and I understood that. Went home, and got a call an hour later, followed by 3 more calls, basically interrogating me on my application. I filled out truthfully. Then they say you can't adopt that dog and don't come back. I didn't argue, I simply said thank you have a nice day. I was able to find a beautiful dog on craigslist later that day, picked him up, and it's been great. 2 days later I get another phone call from Stevens swan asking me if I'm still interested in Simba. I would be but, I had already gotten one. Very rude, and turned down a good home. I hope Simba finds a fire er home, but she will need someone with a lot of patience and training.
