The one on one support and overall quality experience that I have received as construction professional over the past 6 years of working with the team at Builder’s First Source-Rosendale, NY is by far “The Absolute Best”. Other local and even “Big Box” stores are a Bar None comparison to to wealth of knowledge and professionalism exhibited by the team in Rosendale. Drivers, counter sales representatives and management have all made purchasing and decision making a breeze. Hilltop Carpentry LLC is a customer of BFS for life!

Love this place and the guys are great. Most of the time I find they beat HD and Lowes prices and they have a way better selection. Obviously they know what they're talking about and are super helpful. Not pretentious at all.

Wife and I went in to get some lumber. I asked if they had a scrap bin and was told "not really".... Walked around for 20min until we were helped. The salesperson seemed like we were inconveniencing them. We only needed a bit of wood, so maybe that was the reason? We couldn't see the wood first, then after we told them what we want and paid, we had to drive around back and find/wait for someone to get the wood. On top of that, some of the wood we got was wet and had splintered chunks missing. We ended just just taking what we got and left. Afterwords we went to Heights Lumber and and had an awesome experience. Wish we had gone there first....
