I was refused my prescription at this Walgreens by one of the pharmacists at this location. I did not get her name, but she was white, a little chubby, and had glasses and some moles on her face. She denied processing my refill for two months even though it was prescribed by my doctor. I even went to another doctor to have it refilled, and she lied and told me that it was being held at a separate pharmacy. I know this because I called the other pharmacy, and they told me it was stocked this whole time at this Walgreens. I found out that Walgreens employees can refuse their own customers prescriptions. This is awful and inhumane. I ended up having to switch pharmacies entirely for this woman's terrible and indecent performance at her own job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WALGREENS PHARMACY. GO TO HANNAFORD INSTEAD, they are so much more respectful and trustworthy. And whatever you do, avoid the chubby white lady with glasses. Ugh.

I have been patronizing the pharmacy for years and am very satisfied with their service. The staff is very helpful and always willing to answer questions

The manager is unbelievable rude. I went in at 7:55am and he aggressively approached me. He must have been having a bad day because I got 'I'm crazy' vibes from the guy. I literally thought he was trying to be funny at first. He wasn't. Don't ever shop here, but if you do, don't show up 5 minutes before they open. If you see a 6 ft tall, 40ish bald guy with glasses, run. I think he is trying to get some kind of negative reaction from someone. He looked like someone looks pre mental breakdown. This is not a joke. I felt very uncomfortable and borderline threatened.

Check the website to make sure you know when the pharmacy closes. Didnt realize they shut it down from 1:30pm to 2pm so the pharmacy staff can eat. Never seen that before so I didnt think to check the website. Edit:I was on my lunch break, so I couldnt really wait since the drive back to work is 25min)Was there the day before and not feeling well. Waited over an hour to get the prescription filled. Went at prescribed time, talked to another staff member and was told they needed another 15 minutes. Honestly I left since it was stressing me and I figured I could get my blood pressure medication the next day(today). At least one competitor is seconds away from them, they dont close for lunch, and my shopping experience will be less stressful

Call before you go to this location incase you need to pick something up from the Pharmacy. They close down from 1:30pm to 2pm it seems so the staff can have lunch. I went to get my medication on my lunch break (its a 25 minute drive) only to be told to wait 10 minutes and they should be back. I couldn't since I do not want to be late from coming back from lunch. I wouldnt be this disappointed except I was there the day before and left after waiting over an hour. So what does my time or health matter to Walgreens, or the Pharmacy staff? I mean if you like poor service and attitude from staff then this is the place for you. I depend on reviews for my living in my field, so it takes a special experience for me to leave a negative review. Never have I left my department totally empty, especially around lunch hours when people run out for quick errands. So now I will have to go back after work in rush hour traffic. I will call first incase they are having dinner So the website does say closed 1:30 to 2pm, I should have checked before wasting my time. I have never known a pharmacy that dose this I will just use Riteaid since they dont close for lunch, like several other pharmacies in the area

Worst Walgreens in Orange County. Pharmacy staff is rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and drive a few more minutes to a different location.

On Saturday dec 26, I was purchasing nightmare before Christmas items that are on sale for 50 percent off. I went to the register to purchase my items. however, one of the items didn’t scan off the 50 percent sale, the cashier called over a supervisor to overwrite it. The gentlemen stated he couldn’t honor it because it’s a toy item. However, all the nightmare before Christmas items has a flyer stating all holiday items are on sale and it also on the Walgreens website. The c

I came to this Walgreens just now @8:20 pm Thursday January 23rd. The reason I state the date is because I'm not sure what the name of the guy is that's currently on his shift. When I first walked in, I saw him at the front cash register but when I went to pay he disappeared. I waited there for about 5 minutes in the line with no one there, the store is empty. Where could he possibly be?? Then I see him come out as if he was hiding and with his phone and then put it away when he saw my face. And then came to help me. This is poor customer service. I've worked in this industry before and as a customer feeling frustrated and also him not doing his job right is a big no no. Someone needs to speak to him or have him fired.

Pharmacy staff are professional and caring. So glad they established a Walgreens in New Windsor. Rite Aid is the bottom of the barrel!

Went to order "1 day pickup" photo book. Ordered it around 11 am. It said it would be ready around 12:30 but I had work so I showed up at 4:30 pm. They couldn't find it. After 15 minutes and after they reprint it they find it and it's messed up with the black backing in the front the and clear cover in the back. Meanwhile this was the manager who hasn't said anything to me until she found it. Even as I'm standing there no I'm sorry no nothing. I told them several times this is ridiculous I would of got it from the countless other 1 day photo services. It took about 5 minutes for the girl to even call her manager. Very in organized. I'm not one to complain.

Selection at this Walgreens is not very good compared to others in the area. Had to use the bathroom and they have a setup where you have to push a button and wait for someone to come help you open the door.. That would be fine if they actually showed up but I stood there well over 5 mins before I had to go find someone myself and they said hold on why they went to get the person with the code.. I damn near sh*t myself waiting for these people. I've been to others and the bathrooms are just reg walk ins

Called to see whether Pokémon cards were in....was told they were. I went to the store and both Newburgh and New Windsor said they had them, there were none of the booster packs. Wasted gas and they wouldn't give me the two booster packs in one as a discount at the rate of the single... their faulty information cost me gas money.

Shocking that this is a major drugstore chain - the prices are higher than anywhere else, the pharmacy staff is either skeleton, or there are three giggling while customers wait. Or they "put your items back on the shelf" after two days? In one instance, they told me they didn't have antibiotics and I should go to Newburgh - I asked the address - oh, I don't know was the response. Say what? I think they don't want anyone to use the pharmacy - they practically act like they want you to leave. They also told me that I couldn't use a discount rx card - which was incorrect - and cost me $30 extra dollars. I was also overcharged although they had my insurance on record, they charged me the full amount - very, very lax.
