Most aspects of the experience were great, but when they had to delay the delivery of my POD to me, they didn't allow for extra time before they charged me another month's rental.

On Jul 6, 2023 a pod was supposed to be picked up. The driver was incompetent and backed into our car port and destroyed our gutters. We have been trying since then to collect for the damage done. We were promised a claim check a month ago and now the Pod customer advocate, Tia, will not return any calls as we try to find out the status of our claim. We have npbeen trying for the last two weeks to get a returned call for multiple messages left on her voice mail. My only remaining option is to take Pods to small claims court.

on 10/3 I posted a review regarding a problem I had with PODS. It has now been resolved. After trying to get a response for two weeks regarding our claim for damages we were told the signed release had not been received and that was the reason for the delay. A release had been e-mailed on 8/15 but it was not sent attached to the original e-mail. At no time were we told you needed to respond to the original e-mail or they would not receive the attachment. We printed the release, signed it, scanned it and created a new e-mail to send the release. Since it was a new e-mail the PODS customer advocate did not receive the release. This did not make any sense to us but we finally faxed a signed release and it was received and a check is now in process.

I was scheduled for pick up on Monday 8/21/23- no show, no notice.Called, texted, chatted, emailed - no answer, calls dropped.3 hours on the phone today (Tuesday), was finally told that it would be picked up Wednesday. But is scheduled between 3-6PM. After 2 days waiting I needed it picked up first thing.I sold my house. New family with kids tried to move in today- could not because pod is blocking driveway and can not unload in street.All day today lawyers calling me, real estate calling me- very angry people, with every right to be!You didn't show Monday. Your didn't show Tuesday. Now you are telling me Wednesday 3-6!This is a horrible thing to do to people, very poor management!Call center is not able to help, 3 HOURS!! on the phone, they have no authority and can't do anything- and will not put you in touch with anyone who could.Stay away from this company.

Arranged with PODS to have street delivery of my unit. Obtained permit from the city, sent copy of permit to the pods of Hudson Valley email address which PODS provide to me. On the day of delivery they told me they will not do street delivery in Yonkers. I had Yonkers municipal employees willing to confirm that delivery was approved, PODS refused to put anyone in contact. They screwed up my move in plans. Cannot reach anyone who can actually address the issue. Out the money for the permit, and now I also have to rent a vehicle and unload container at the warehouse - what did i pay PODS for?!

These guys are so super friendly and helpful...but here's the rub...when you can find someone. It does seem like the facility is actually "staffed" but if you wait long enough you'll find a driver dropping off and/or picking up a Pod for a delivery. They can help. But the door that says "open 9-5" is permanently locked.

This was the worst experience of my life. PODS has complexity screwed me and my family over. They shipped my pod earlier and blame me for their mistake. They say that they have the recording but they refuse to send them to me. Most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. All the employees just gave me the runaround and lied to me about the whole process. It was terrible. The only good thing was our super helpful delivery driver. Besides that it was awful. I hate pods!

PODS has always been a good choice for moving our family. The containers are strong and clean with many tie down points.

Our initial experience with PODS was great. They delivered the pod, and we were able to fill it at our convenience. After that, everything went downhill. We were told that the pod could not be left in the driveway of our new house because the driveway was too steep. We had to pay more money to store it somewhere else, and then they tried to tell us that we would have to hire movers to pick the things up from storage to move them to the new house. In the end, we decided to risk it and asked for the pod to be delivered. It was, so there was no reason to store our things and pay more for the other location. Another big problem that we had was that they would not tell us the estimated time of delivery until 11 pm the day before. Then, they changed the time three times throughout the day. On the day of pickup, they did not ever come that day after changing the time of pickup three times. I do not recommend using PODS.

POD arrived on time and was picked up as scheduled. It served my purpose to a tee. Very professional and courteous. I will continue using them for all my storage needs.

We had no difficulties what so ever. Ordering was seamless, quotes were accurate, and employees including the drivers were courteous, pleasant, and professional. We ordered for ourselves and our son and all was seamless with accurate deliveries to two different locations. I would use PODs again in a heartbeat.

Never again I will use this Pod company. Also highly do not recommend this company. I booked for a pod weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but was told there was a delay. That it will be delivered the next day, which is today. To add to poor service, my pod is scheduled to be delivered late in the day. As of now, I still haven’t received my pod. I had plans and arrangements, and now I have to wait for it be delivered. For the amount I am paying, I would expect great service. Called customer service several times, just to be given no explanation. This is unacceptable.

Our POD was picked up from our prior place of residence in November , 2021. The POD and everything in it was in tact. After being stored for approximately 7-8 months at your Valley Cottage facility, it was dropped off to our new place of residence on the morning of July 16, 2022 at around 8 am. I was home when the driver dropped the POD in the driveway and left.Once I opened up the POD, I could immediately tell that something was wrong. Objects were wet and I could also see splintered wood everywhere. When I looked up, I saw that the roof had caved in, resulting in two large holes in the roof of the POD. Clearly, the wooden beams at the top of the POD had broken, causing these openings.Almost all of our belongings were wet to some degree. We were able to salvage many things, but unfortunately certain items had water damage that rendered them completely ruined. Our couch, mattress, arm chair, nursery glider, upholstered kitchen chairs, dresser, extensive baseball card collection and large area rug were all ruined. Not to mention various other items that also had water damage. As we are still unpacking , we are hoping no other items are ruined due to mold.After quickly putting a tarp on the roof of the POD and unloading all that I could in case it began to rain, I called the company to file a claim. There was no offer to send a replacement POD or any sense of urgency shown. Since then I have called every day with no answers and the POD with no roof sitting in our driveway with our belongings still inside.After three days we were finally assigned an insurance investigator, Ashley Miller, who emailed saying she was assigned our case and to contact her with any questions. After an email and multiple phone calls over two days, we have still not heard back from her or the company.So far it has been a terrible experience dealing witH PODS and I am still waiting to hear back from them.
