I would not use this person for foreign cars. He is not certified and the service was terrible he damaged my vehicle and refused to fix it. He was very unprofessional and disrespectful whenever I asked him why he would not fix the original repair after I paid him over 2,800 for this service.

Honesty, expertise and a desire to do the right thing are what I look for in a mechanic. I was near Valley Cottage for my sonās hockey game. We picked up our car from the dealer on the way to the game. When getting off the parkway I noticed a clunking in the right front axel. I am from over 2 hours away and was afraid to drive home. I pulled into Railās at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. They were closed. Luckily the owner Anyiro was in the office doing paperwork. I explained the situation- he told it sounded like a safety issue and he wanted to help. After a 2 minute drive he said it sounded like a loose stabilizer bar. We pulled into the shop and he fixed it. He refused payment and told me he was happy that we would be safe getting home. Here is a business owner who is interested in people- I live 2 hours away- I can not be a repeat customer - but he helped when his shop was closed and out of concern for others. This is what the world needs more of.
Anyiro and Rails Auto thank you.

I had a number and variety of services performed by Rail Auto. I love the staff. Everyone there is professional and their work performance is excellent. The costs are very reasonable and they are able to complete work that other shops are unable to do. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I would give this establishment zero stars if possible. This garage was managed much better previously, but Anyiro has no concept of time management. I called because I had a nail in my tire and wanted to see if he patched tires, which he stated he did. I asked if I dropped off the tire (not the truck, just the tire), would he have time to do it today. He stated he could do it. I dropped off the tire with the tire marked out where the problem was. 3 1/2 hours later, I called, and he said he'd get to it shortly. 2 hours later, I just went there, walked in, and said I was taking the tire. He barely acknowledged my existence. I needed the tire back on my truck as I needed to use it that evening. As a former mechanic, I know the job takes 20 - 30 minutes. I could do it myself if I had a tire machine and balancer. Unfortunately, I do not have $4,000 for the machines nor the place to put them. Previously, I dropped off a vehicle with a front-end squeak/clunk. I assumed it was struts, but I didn't have time to do it myself with a lot going on in my life and work. I also do not have a strut compressing tool. He checked it out and said it was struts, swaybar bushings, and links. The next day he said he was still working on it. On the third day, I stopped by, and he was finishing up replacing the control arms, swaybar bushings, and links. I guess when he diagnosed the problem, he didn't bother to put it on the lift. Had I done that as a mechanic, I would have been fired. If you want your vehicle back before you grow old, this is not the place to go.

For years my family went to this place. and all these years they have been ripping us off. Its sad to realize that..they also claimed to do work they never did which meant that they handed me the keys thinking I was safe but I wasn't safe to drive..I got into my car and saw the part wasnt even installed.. They handed me a death sentence.
Also they claimed to have done my dads brake lines last year, which bursted again,....almost killing my dad..
Awful service.. they run a sweat shop with no supervision of these uncertified techs.

So while on the way to a family reunion at Congers Lake, our van started to bellow white smoke from the exhaust. This issue usually indicates a leak of either coolant or oil into the combustion system. I had unknowingly way overfilled my van with Oil, Rail took a look at my van and quickly took care of my issue, despite them being really busy. I really appreciate the service that they helped us with.
