I ordered from Chef B's restaurant a few weeks ago and can't stop daydreaming about the food! I had their vegan platter like 3 days in a row consisting of curry chickpeas, curry okra, they also provided a complimentary okra rice with a bit of mango on the top...i mean just so delicious. Every spoonful of everything was just BURSTING with flavor. I can't wait to go back!!!

While browsing the menu I did see they served vegan and non vegans foods so maybe it's my fault for not asking. But I ordered on the phone a vegan double with side of callaloo and plantains. As me and my son were eating the callaloo I seen a lump in it so I take it out to see what it is and it's a bone. I would have appreciated being informed that the callaloo was cooked with meat since I did order vegan items and was specifically asking about other vegan items on the menu. As for the vegan double it was different from what I'm used to but they had some sweet sauce on it that I would have preferred on the side to put on myself. The plantains were too ripe and soggy for me. My daughter did like the vegan macaroni pie and passion fruit juice they put in the bag for her. Overall if I was in the area again and in the mood for chickpeas I might give them another shot.

Amazing food! The j*** chicken so tender juicy and flavorful! Goat Curry some of the BEST I've ever had! I've eaten goat from all over! Can't recommend enough! So far the best thing I've eaten so far on our trip!

I went here a few days ago, I always pass by and decided to give them a try. I had the j*** chicken with rice and beans my chicken was perfect heat just like I asked. I ordered for my friend stew chicken rice and beans and she loved it. I also got the passion fruit drink and that was amazing! The gentleman that takes our order is the best he made sure everything was right and even went above and beyond packing the food for my friend to make sure she received it at its best quality. Definitely making this my go to place!

Ordered oxtail & rasta pasta on a late night run in the middle of the week because it was my birthday, had to take the food to go but the lady was very accommodating and the food was delicious! I can't even add a picture of it because I ate it so quickly. Would definitely be back and recommend to others.

I recommend everything about this place. The food is 5 stars!! It is the freshest food ever. Customer service is amazing. It is on the pricy side but it is Definitely worth it. The portions are amazing. It is packaged so well. We went twice in one weekend and ordered food to take back to Delaware with us. My husband said he’s gonna call and find out if we can order trays of food. That’s how good it was lol Thank you Chef B - you gained a customer for life

This place is Definetly 5 stars. We had it for the first time yesterday and it was sooo good that we went back today. The food is truly fresh and the portions are Definetly large. It is worth the price Customer service is amazing I will be eating here every time I go to New York

UPDATED REVIEW: I want to start by saying the customer service (on my first visit) was AMAZING. Peggy is great! So far, I’ve tried Curry Shrimp Roti, J*** Shrimp Roti, J*** Chicken, Curry Goat, and Pholourie. I’ve also tried the Chef Mix drink! So favorful. One of my critiques is that the drinks are pricey for the size. The Chef Mix is my favorite, but $15 for a non-alcoholic drink is a little much for me. They also have a weird payment policy in my opinion. They want credit card information to be sent over the phone which is a bit of a security concern for me. Despite coming to the restaurant (literally offered to hand them my card), they still wanted me to give my card information over the phone. That was weird.

Drove by late at night, before closing and luckily was able to place an order! Peggy is super sweet and I was absolutely delighted at how attentive and helpful she was when I placed my order. I truly value places with great customer service. Customer service was PHENOMENAL! Her personality is super welcoming love the way she is friendly, informative and wanting to get to know you more. She took extra time to make my first experience a memorable one! May you and everyone at Chef B’s be filled with peace love and light ! Will be back for SURE!!!
