It looks terrible both inside and out. The store is messy and disorganized, with nothing useful at all. The neighborhood is bad too, and the filth in the parking lot needs to be cleaned up!

King Kullen is one of the more higher class grocery stores and beats the pants off of Stop & Shop and Key Food the store is a super clean they offer clean bathrooms to the customers they have quite a huge parking lot they have a very good Bakery and fish selection the people are friendly and courteous they work with you if you have a problem finding something the aisles are arranged in such a way that you have plenty of room to see things and if you have any problem getting stuff that's on the top shelf there's usually somewhere within calling distance a person who works there to give you a hand with anything you don't have to run around the whole store to find someone to give you a hand out of a possible 10 I give King Kullen a 10

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at King Kullen. The store is listed as closing at 10:00 PM, but when I arrived at 9:50 PM, the doors were already closed. There were at least five or six other people who also showed up expecting the store to still be open. It’s frustrating and frankly unacceptable for a business to mislead customers about their hours. I specifically came here because I thought they stayed open later. If you’re going to close early, at least update the hours or communicate it clearly to avoid wasting people’s time.

This is regarding the flower area and an experience I had in 4/11/25. Yesterday I went to pick up flowers for my sisters special occasion. I saw these peach roses I wanted but wanted to know if some baby’s breath could be added. I went up to the lady and asked her and she told me in a very weird tone that for $6 you can go get the baby’s breath and “they” can add it for you. I was confused on who “they” was so I stood there for about 5 seconds thinking what to do and before I could even say a word she yells at me and says “ you want it or no?! Hurry up because I gotta go” I was in SHOCK. I could not believe she spoke to me in that way, I couldn’t believe it was real. It was around 5:20PM at that time. I couldn’t even speak up because I was in such disbelief. When I went and got the baby’s breath she was so mad that I actually wanted it and began slamming things around, she ripped open the flowers. There was a coral pink tissue wrapped around it which I wanted to keep as it was a part of the original flowers. before I could say anything she ripped it and threw it it on the floor in such an aggressive manner while huffing and puffing. She wrapped it in a completely different shade of pink color and horribly put the baby’s breath together. Then didn’t even ask what color string I wanted and tied a yellow and red string when there was a pink one right under it. It didn’t match at all. I had to go fix everything myself and buy a white colored ribbon which is all I could find myself to fix it. Mind you, there was a customer right before me who she spoke to so kindly. After I was done with her, she was still working for a while so I don’t understand her saying she has to go. I have been coming to this king kullen for almost 10 years and have never experienced such disrespect and disgusting behavior. Everyone is so nice there. Someone recommended me to go to their flower shop area as they wrap the flowers beautifully and are incredibly kind. I could not have had more of an opposite experience. I understand people have bad days, but she took advantage of me and thought she could speak to me in that manner. I hope something gets done about this.

The layout of this store is terrible. There’s all this wasted space in the front and the aisles are doubled up in an unusual way. All of that isn’t bad as one will manage it, but it gets worse.
Every sign for the aisles is down the aisle. So you cannot walk by the aisle reading the sign to see if that’s the one you want. No, instead the signs are way down the aisle, so you need to stop at each aisle to read the darn sign. On top of the less than great layout, I can’t stand this place.
Besides my complaints, the rest of it is a relatively normal grocery shopping experience. But I literally avoid this place to do regular shopping because of its layout and only stop in when I’m passing for 1 or 2 things I quickly need.

Wish I got her name but I called the store for a bakery question. The woman running the bakery was so kind, patient and helpful. She went to look for the answer to my question and didn’t guess or say I don’t know. Great customer service.

My review is based off the seafood department. The salmon is always spoiled and they still try to sell it. The smell is atrocious!!!! It has a bunch of brown spots and slimy. The store is usually clean so I’m not sure what they’re doing in that section. This is my second time experiencing this issue, so I will no longer be purchasing meat at allll from this store.
