I was scheduled for a remote car starter installation today.. I had a 12:45 appointment.. I got there at 12:30. When I got there they informed me that my car needed an extra piece in order for them to finish installing or even install the piece would cost me $6 they would charge me $60 for installation. Not when I bought the remote starter installation was included I told the manager kwanny I will pay for the peace but I will not install it with them he straight out told me that he will not do my installation and refused to work on my car. I called Best Buy customer service on the phone and had them speak to him and yet he still refused to do the installation of my car. As a manager to that store that Store that man needs to be fired he does not be in a position of power he does not know how to work with customers and does not know how to do his job. I will also Be bringing the attention of this incident to the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs I was not happy with no service that I received today!!

Renaldo shame on you sir. Asked him to do me a favor being I'm disabled and he looked at me and said, "Sounds like a YOU PROBLEM". Walk into these stores and you are treated as if you are garbage. That's how you talk to a customer? Forget a customer. A person? Renaldo shame on you little "man".

These idiots at the geek squad could not fix my problem and why would they because the problem wasn't theirs. My laptop glitched and deleted a whole year's work. I went to this store with tears pleading for someone's help. The first guy told me he couldn't fix it within 3 min of trying. Next guy within 5 min said he couldn't. My college educated daughter did it in 20 minutes.. They weren't geeks at all. They were lazy and not helpful.

I went there to install a remote start, that best buy charges $150 for. It's called "remote start installation with t-harness", meaning the t-harness is included in the $150. I've purchased this for my uncle before, and it cost $150 for him. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment, because the in store worker gave me the wrong directions to installation location. The mechanic, who was working on a separate vehicle and couldn't work ob mine regardless without finishing that one, said I was too late for him to work on mine. I was 10 minutes late, BECAUSE OF HIS OWN CO WORKERS, and he wouldn't have been able to work on my car until that time REGARDLESS. That's when I saw him mumbling to himself, and realized he was on the phone with his friend. He refused to work on my car just so he could keep facetiming his friend. Then he had his own friend come into the garage so he could work on that car instead. He hadn't even cancelled my appointment until that point because I wasn't that late, yet said it was cancelled. He then cancelled my appointment in front of me, again clearly lying, so he could give his friend my appointment time. Then while rescheduling, I asked how much the installation would cost, double checking with the worker, and he said 300. I asked how it could cost 300 when it cost my uncle who did the same installation with same product for $150 and best buy's website says $150. He said the required t-harness would be an additional 50. He must be an idiot because last time I checked, the T-harness that's INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, and isn't even REQUIRED FOR MY PRODUCT, should be free. On top of that, how does $150+$50 cost 300?!? That man pissed me off for the rest of the day after I had to drive 30 min to that stupid store. I'm calling the corporate store tomorrow to complain about him for trying to steal $150 from me.

Bought a tv and sound system from this location and paid for the Geek Squad to mount it to my wall. They couldnt do it right away so I waited 2.5 weeks for the service availability...only for them to call me the day of and tell me they had to reschedule for the next day. The next day arrived and they called me while they're supposed to be here and said they would have to push the appointment to the following day at 8am. This is 2 days of rescheduling when this was planned in advance. It is now 11:30am when they were supposed to be here at 8am and I'm still wondering where delivery person is. If you're wondering, I did call the number that I have been communicating with for the past few days. Not only did the person on the other line have no recollection that they called and cancelled TWO of my appointments, but they told me the person for my 8am appointment "will get there when they get there". 10/10 do not recommend their Geek Squad mounting/installation service.

Rude employees who should not hold in a customer service job, plus a store manager who does not know the company returns policy. After only 1 visit, it's not a surprise that this store is rated so low. However, it is a surprise that corporate hasn't done anything about it.

Ghetto, uncouth employees. I'm not sure if one of their requirement is to be uneducated in order to work there. Staff are gossiping about what they did last night while customers need help. Take your hard earned money to Target. I hope & pray that Best Buy goes bankrupt and hits rock bottoms and never recovers.

No more Best Buy for me! Ever! It's a scam to get you to buy additional services on top of whatever you're already paying. If I spend $400 or $4000 the seller should automatically give at least 90 days warranty in store on most items. My 85 inch purchased in Jan 21 turns off by itself And they've told me to follow up with manufacturer or pay to service! That is ridiculous! They will never see another dollar from me or anyone I am in touch with.

Brst Buy company offers terrible online service. I purchased an online desktop that was then cancelled by Best buy because it was out of stock. I was then offered an adjustment to the order when the item came back in stock if i was willing to wait. The item is now available and Best buy online refused to honor the adjustment after waiting a month for it. No loyalty to their customers at all. I could have easily purchased the desktop through Amazon. A waste of my time. I'll give my business to Amazon now!! Zerooooo stars

I went to this store to buy a Garmin GPS as the one I owned for over 8 years was starting to act up. I need the GPS because I travel out of state regularly for work, sometimes for 30 days or more, and a GPS is a must. The staff is the worse! They have someone at the door tø make sure you're using a mask and direct you to area you need tø see the product. Long story short, I kept being passed to a different employee at least 3 times. When I was ready to check out, one of the employees that said she was busy, was at the other side of the counter just checking her phone! Sorry, don't go to VALLEY STREAM BEST BUY, those employees need to be retrained and told the customers are the ones who pay their salary! Never again!! This happened on 07/31/2020.

Don't come to this place at all I did a monthly payment on one new iPhone and they charge me for two iPhones when I only purchased one and when I when back to them the manager had very bad attitude to the point where I almost knock him the hell out anyways they have not gave me back my money and my credit score has when done because of there little scam please everyone stay away from here and watch and double check everything your doing if your at this place especially your SOICL Security !!!
