My recent experience at the Valley Stream Branch on Merrick Rd was exceptional unsatisfactory. The branch location is not conducive to customer satisfaction. A comprehensive overhaul of the staff is urgently required. I visited the Branch recently for the first time. The wait time was extremely long. To make matters worse I encountered an old coworker who had entered and signed in after me, we engaged in conversation, and when the customer service representative approach the list to call in whose next waiting, my ex coworker greeted her and they said hello to one another and said, “do you remember me, I was in here last week” she then stood up and proceeded directly to the next available rep, causing the customer service to prioritize her attention without consulting the waiting list. This incident prompted me to express my dissatisfaction, but unfortunately my concerns were disregarded. Based on this experience I would not recommend this branch neither will I returned to this branch. The service provided is significantly below par.

Without going into personal details, i was having a bit of trouble with my account. Thanks to the branch manager Yogi, it was totally resolved. I can't thank him enough. In my opinion, he's a fantastic asset to the bank. He Rocks! Thanks again Yogi!

This is the worst jovia location i have been to. During regular business hours, making a withdrawal should not take 30 minutes. The staff are incredibly slow moving and it is inexcusable. Close this location or speed it up.

This company as a whole is incompetent and they don’t know what they are doing. Something as simple as a wire transfer is too complicated for them to process. Customer service over the phone is a joke. Good luck if you keep your money with Jovia. They are horrible.

If you utilize this credit union and live in another state be forewarned they outsource their customer service overseas. I wouldn't care if it was competent, but this has caused me serious issues this week.
I needed a verification letter for my checking account to put proceeds of a loan into it, and the proceeded to send me a letter pertaining to a loan I had received from them last year. It's like their own workers don't know what an account verification letter is.
This is unacceptable

Unfortunately a decade of loyalty has no regards for the customer service of this company. I may move my finances somewhere else. I write this on call w/ customer service who are quick to push me to the next representative and make me wait 20 min between each conversation

Pamela is the most satisfying customer service client to work with. She is patient, very customer centric; and I am very satisfied!Pamela guides the customer in setting up their online banking application for ease of use. She focuses on each task and is diligent in completing each request the customer requires.Today it was:A. changing my account pinB. Requesting a pause on an electronic transfer from an external bank, andC. The very worst Credit Union ever. They never respond to any inquiries or concerns. Trust me go elsewhere as there are much better financial institutions!!

They put my check into another person's account. They also have not resolved this. Use a major bank with competent employees who can put deposit your check into your account and not strangers. Do not bank with them.

I opened an account today and Kadine provided excellent customer service. She was patient and thorough with the answers to my questions. She finished setting up my account and didn't rush, even though it was 30 minutes past her clockout time.

Ever since they switched from NEFCU to Jovia, its been nothing but trouble. Very slow service in the drive up tellers and takes over ten minutes for a simple deposit. Ive been a member for years and its a constant headache to come here. With all of that their updates on the mobile app is ridiculous and I am on the verge of switching banks because its just hands down horriable.

Fake bank ever. I paid off my loan. And they said I miss 3 payments . I called them and said you’re car loan paid off but I can see my experience report they flagged my account 3 payments due. Are you serious bro. What kinds of scam you are !!
