OLD NAVY (GREEN ACRES AND PROBABLY ALL OTHERS AS WELL) IS A THIEF!!!! BUYER BEWARE AND ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. PICK-UP IN STORE CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS!!!
I ordered 5 sandals as a Pick-up In-Store order, but decided to cancel that order and NOT pick it up because they did NOT have the color that I really wanted. I chose to place an online order instead because they had the item and allow Old Navy to cancel my pick-up in store due to me not picking it up. They gave me 5 days to pick it up, but the charge was still pending on my account. I knew it would go away when they canceled my order, but ……… *clears throat*
OLD NAVY CHOSE TO PUT IT THROUGH IN THEIR SYSTEM THAT I PICKED UP THE ORDER JUST TO TAKE MY MONEY. TO BE TOTALLY HONEST, I think an EMPLOYEE chose to do shady business. I received an email to review my PICK-UP IN STORE order and my red flag immediately went up. I went straight to my account and saw that OLD NAVY charged me TWICE; one charge for the PICKUP order that was NEVER picked up and another charge for the order I CHOSE TO SHIP TO ME!!!
I chose to dispute the charge with PayPal, but OLD NAVY chose to pull A FAST one and send PayPal my SHIPPED ORDER info. PayPal didn’t read what was sent to them and CLOSED my case. I immediately called back and APPEALED the case. I made sure to tell them that it’s NOT my shipped order, but the pickup order that I’m disputing. They fixed my info and GRANTED me my REFUND TODAY!!!!
It’s just too much of a hassle now for me with these pickup in store orders. I don’t even think I’m gonna deal with OLD NAVY EVER AGAIN!!!!
I’ve never been through all of this. BUYER BEWAREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
