I had a disappointing experience at this shop. The cashier was rude and seemed impatient when speaking to customers. Good customer service is important, and I expected to be treated with more respect. I hope the management addresses this behavior to improve future service.

Visited for dog grooming services - they’re standard and what you’d expect from a chain corporation - that said of the 5 grooming sessions I’ve booked for my large dog 2 were great, because of Jericha. She uses a more personal and tailored approach - particularly helpful for my timid and anxious dog.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Every time my wife brings our golden doodle to this PetSmart location, they end up shaving him completely down — always with the same excuse: “he’s matted.” This has happened multiple times, which shows a serious lack of skill and consistency among their groomers.
This last visit was the worst yet not only was our dog shaved down again, but we were charged over $190, including being hit with the de-matting fee twice. When we asked why, we were told they needed to use a “special blade” — which feels like a made-up excuse to justify an inflated price.
We don’t have many grooming options nearby, but we’re done with PetSmart. We will never bring our dog back, and we’ll be strongly warning other pet owners in our area to avoid them as well.

The grooming department here is next level , Wait time may be a bit long but it’s totally worth it , I recommend Angelica , she’s a master Groomer

I ended up getting 3 toys and DID NOT notice I got two exactly the same. I was in a rush. Refuse to make the line again. I told the cashier can you just charge it and I’ll switch it after. I’m not gonna return it. She had to process and exchange and charge me .67 more cents. Something that cost exactly the same. Be careful what to buy before you buy it.

Horrible service. Y open the door at 9 am if u guys don’t let ppl purchase there stuff till 10am cus that’s the time u guys open. I was walking in there for 30 mins looking for the stuff I needed got to the register to be told we don’t open till 10am so y did u guys not say nutting to me while I putting things in my cart. Very bad service. Just don’t come here on Sundays period.

The worst place for pet care. They call you to make an appointment and then when you arrive they say you don't have an appointment. You miss work because they are disorganized.

No human or animal should be discriminated against because of growing old, the process we have no control over. I and my 7 pound yorkie was treated so bad by a groomer this morning at the valley stream location. The groomer seemed nervous grooming an older dog and obviously inexperience when it comes to grooming older dogs that are a bit nervous. He called me a few minutes into the grooming and says rudely “come get your dog” The groomers and front desk use to be so professional. How can anyone groom a dog with 6 inch curved fingernails? It takes patience and a love of animals no matter what their age, to be a good groomer. My dog’s regular groomer unfortunately is out for an indefinite time. Megan was patience, experienced and knew how to treat the baby doggies no matter how young or old. The groomer this morning should not work with people or animals. Do manicurist or hair dressers stop taking older people? The answer is no. So the same should apply to dogs who are just old with no preexisting medical issues. The only thing they are guilty of is growing older. I was a customer for years and am saddened by today’s incident.
