After reading some of these negative reviews I wonder what are peoples real intentions. I have been coming to this station for a while. Scott who’s the owner is always there, he’s knowledgeable, never tries to convince you to change extra things, is always price conscious when it comes to my repairs. I have had a lot of mechanics and this is the only place I feel comfortable and I know I’m not being lied too.
So when I read these negative comments it confuses me and makes me wonder what their real intentions are, one comment says they lost their debit card at the shop and went to go get it and the gas attendant who has nothing to do with the mechanic shop wouldn’t give it to them, maybe they didn’t give it to you cause it was in your husbands name, and he should of gone to pick it up. And honestly that has nothing to do with fixing cars. or someone else writing it’s impossible to speak to the owner, I’ve been to this place over 30 times and the owner is always there and always super friendly.
I never write reviews but I was googling to double check their shop address when I saw some of these comments and had to put in my experiences. I have had nothing but sneaky mechanics in my life the moment I came here it all changed, their customer service and pricing puts this shop at the top 10 mechanics in NYC.

I must say the repair shop at Sunoco gas station was oustanding with helping me with my vehicle. I truly have to thank the owner/manager Scott for his kind and professional approach to service and customer satisfaction. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. There were giant puddles of water all over the place, and everything was very dirty-looking and run-down. The employees were really rude and barely said a word to me--when he was done filling up my gas, I said, "Thank you." He just glared at me. The gas was pretty expensive too.

Used to love coming here to repair my car(s) and always recommended the shop to many friends and family, lately though everything is different. You can never actually talk to the owner face to face or even on the phone anymore. Every time i walk in it’s the same angry looking lady who acts like Scott’s personal body guard or junkyard dog. Very aggressive when talking to people, and very hostile, not a people person at all. Getting into contact with the owner is easy when it comes to paying, but otherwise you have to go through this aggressive nonsense.

Witnessed Sunoco’s mechanic verbally harass and abuse a minor over a mistake his own employee made. I’ve been going here for years, but after what I saw a 40 year old drugged out mechanic screaming his behind off at a minor over rolling over something HIS OWN EMPLOYEE LEFT IN THE ROAD... I will NEVER be coming here again!

This is a response to Tuck McGee.I was there on that day, if you would of stuck around or where there when the whole issue unfolded you would of known what really happened. The boy you were referring to is the owners (Scott) son, the whole issue happened when an irresponsible driver who looked like he was on drugs sped into the gas station and nearly ran over Scott’s 10 year old boy. Scott reacted like any other father would have. A few more inches and the boy would of been in the hospital. What you witnessed was Scott screaming for his son to get out of the way. Then yelling at the driver for his actions.
