Nice oasis on Route 20A. Great golf in summer and cross-country skiing in winter.

Very, very slow. Dinner took over an hour to make. Food was good, just took way too long.

We chose Byrncliff as our venue for our baby girl’s baptism and we couldn’t have been happier. It was a central location for all of our family members between Buffalo and Rochester. Everyone loved the breakfast buffet and a week later are still talking about the great celebration Byrncliff helped us plan!

We just held our company holiday dinner at Byrncliff at the beginning of January and had a wonderful experience. No surprise, this was the fifth time returning to Byrncliff for our annual event. Their event team is excellent, attending to the details of our party efficiently and with professionalism. We had a last-minute dietary concern, which may not seem out of the ordinary, but we were not aware of the allergy until the night before our event. We requested a list of menu items that did not include gluten or nuts at 6pm, and within a short time we had the list. The chef even offered to make a special appetizer for this one guest. They went above and beyond! The ambiance was great, the dining room private with a touch of elegance, round tables, and ivory linens. The food was both plentiful and delicious. We chose buffet style, and our guests were welcome to make a return visit to the buffet table. Our servers were polite, attentive and efficient. We pre-booked next year’s holiday dinner and look forward to another lovely event at Byrncliff.

Our family has fairly large dinner parties on a regular basis at Byrncliff. The last was for 28 people and was just as nice as all the other dinners! We continue to go back because of the service and food! We can go anywhere else, but choose Byrncliff. Every single request is taken care of. Every meal is wonderful. If something is not to someone’s liking the server/kitchen staff make the requested change. No one sat with a dirty plate or empty glass. The girls worked hard and were sooo attentive.Thank you for always accommodating us!!

We had a luncheon here with 30 people. We were served in a timely manner and our food was amazing! No one had any complaints. We will definitely be back!

Sissy and Katie are top notch. As far as a venue, you’re looking at a slice of heaven. Great

Beautiful property. Very conveniently located in a rural area away from the rushes of life. Older style resort with a nice bar/restaurant area. Nice sized conference room for meetings. Rooms are older motel rooms. Have some issues with flies but the staff was very helpful with trying to remedy that. If you're looking for a nice private getaway this might be it.

Terrible Marshall of the course. Played at 4:15 round and Marshall said ‘we’re lucky’. No definitely. Pathetic and threatening. This course can kick rocks.

The golf course itself was really nice, but they overbook and we were on pace to play over a 6 hour round. We left on 15 when there were 4 groups on the hole and us on the tee box. The ranger came around and pretty much told us it is what it is and we said its always like that when we go there and he said “then why do you come back?” He was super rude and we will not be coming back to this course ever.

What an absolutely horrific experience! Don’t plan a wedding at this venue. The once in a lifetime experience of my daughter’s wedding day was ruined by the most unprofessional, rude and degrading staff. When people pay thousands of dollars for a perfect day and the venue cannot set up as planned and places dangerous metal table tops on tables is outrageous. Several staff members attempted to fix the issue that had put the bride in instant tears, but upper management stopped that and refused to change things. They indicated to her that she was upset for nothing. When the bride knows what she wants and paid outrageous prices for it you would expect some compliance. Not here. After they said metal table tops had been changed out, it was found that they did NOT change them all. The day of the wedding another metal top was found where the high chair had been placed. After getting this changed it was “assumed” everything was set. No - a guest in fact hurt herself on another metal table top during the reception. At the end of the reception the bride and groom were pulled off to the side to discuss their experience. Never should have happened! Not on their wedding night. When the staff uses the excuse that it was “a learning curve” for both the venue and couple is absurd and indicates that no one noticed the table setup that was not what they paid for is inexcusable. Not to mention the “suite” they paid for was infested with spiders and had a hole in the ceiling. I’m sure Byrncliff has not and will not contact the newlyweds to compensate them. Sad management. Don’t use this venue unless you want to set yourself up for disaster.

10/10 weekend at the stay and play lodge with a big group of guys.every single staff member there was a pleasure to deal with, and was always aimed at making sure we were happy—from the manager, to the restaurant staff, even the course kitty :)the golf course was hilly and challenging, but a great course to play on. it made it fun being able to play on it a few times in one weekend.the restaurant went wayyy above what we expected. the breakfast buffet is probably the best i’ve had in terms of quality and options. and the dinners were amazing, I had the chicken parm and the salmon another night.the lodge was perfect for what we needed, lots of room and beds to sleep on. the backyard has lots of seats and is beautiful as well.would love to be back!
