This place is great. We’ve stopped here several times on our drives across the state and called ahead to get a full cheese pizza and they always have it hot and ready, and provide plates and napkins. Great customer service and the pizza is good enough for the price and convenience!

This store is close to the Casino and very handy when we travel, to grab a bite to eat. However, their fast food is awful. We’ve never gotten anything that tasted remotely fresh. We grabbed a couple of breakfast sandwich’s yesterday, 1/15/25, and I threw mine out after looking at it. I wish I could post a picture. The English muffin was dry and rubbery, the so called “egg” was a circle which appeared to be made from egg beaters, 2/3 the size of the muffin and burnt around the edges. It had a half slice of what I think was cheese, haphazardly stuck to the muffin and a sausage patty. My husband attempted to eat his and said you couldn’t even chew it, it was so old. This isn’t the first attempt at trying to grab food there, but it has gotten worse. It’s the closest place to stop, that’s why we keep trying, but it’s getting worse, not better. The cashiers are hit or miss also. Most everyone we deal with in Verona are friendly and helpful, but the cashier at Savon was a tad “snippy”. Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth, as the food would have, if I dared to eat it. They could do much more with this store. Maybe they should stop trying to sell food and if they can’t keep it edible.
