I had the best experience with Stacy today in Vestal, NY. She always helps me find the perfect frames for my face! We usually end up having a nice conversation and a few giggles. The bottom line is that she’s great at her job.

America's WORST. They do a vitrual Dr. She couldn't see my images well on my right eye. They referred me out. I took off a day from work for this. Virtual Dr. This is the lame future of eye exams.

My husband and I were in the Vestal Plaza and stopped in to see if America's Best would be able to fix my husband's nearly 'impossible to fix' broken glasses. Not only did they fix them, but absolutely earned our business from here on out. Jeff and Nikki were amazing in every way! Thank you!!

We went into the Vestal NY office hoping they could help us after a terrible experience with Robert's Eye Care refusing to replace our sons glasses even though they were under warranty. We spoke to the Manager and the 2 office staff and the manager didn't even hesitate to help us. While the manager took our sons broken frames to see what he could do the 2 office staff were also more than willing to help us look for similar frames so we could buy them and put the lens in them until we could get him in for an updated eye exam. Turns out the manager had a " Frankenstein Box," and put the lens in frames another patient didn't pick up. He didn't question or hesitate to help us. To top off the wonderful customer service he didn't charge us!! The staff will never know how thankful we are for them helping us replace the broken frames that were under warranty with another office. Which refused to replace them even after 2 months of going back and forth, along with terrible and poor customer service from their new office manager/owner. Thank you Vestal Office staff.!! There really is great customer service out there!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I decided to give this place a second chance after a bad first impression two years ago, and regret it. After spending an hour and forty five minutes there, I was told by the virtual eye doctor that they would not fill my contact prescription. The long wait to even be taken into a room, well after the start of my appointment time, to then spend a great amount of time in the room to have my eyes checked due to the staff not knowing how to work the equipment, to be sent back to the waiting room, and then finally to enter another room for my actual eye exam with the “virtual eye doctor” who then tells me they can only prescribe me glasses but not contacts (my appointment was for a contact prescription renewal of the same contacts I’ve been wearing for many years). I was then told I could see an in person eye doctor in Ithaca or Syracuse, both at least an hour + drive, no thanks. I would rather pay out of pocket than ever return here for service, and I suggest you all look elsewhere for your eye exams.

I went in with a current exam, got progressives, but the frame really hurt my ears and I struggled to see. I explained before ordering my main reason for the glasses was office work. I went back two weeks after I’d picked them up, explained the pain behind my ears and how I cannot see my monitor and have to continuously maneuver my head to see my notes. The woman was not helpful. She said “you have the top of the line lenses. I don’t understand how they don’t work.” Then she told me I’m not holding my head correctly. I left with my issue unresolved. Drove 90 minutes to the one outside Scranton PA. They have excellent service!

Went here today with my daughter who is a freshman at BU. We had an AMAZING experience! Eye exams were easy and then our time picking out glasses was so much easier with Stacy by our side helping us choose what looked best on each of us. Stacy was so personable, easy going and she knew her stuff incredibly well!! We left there feeling so fortunate to have crossed paths with Stacy. ?

Terrible experience. overall everyone was poor at communicating, very dull and lifeless, and extremely unprofessional. Over a month wait and they don't even have a doctor in store. Then they tell you that you can't get contacts if they've never given them to you, but no one at all could bother to inform customers about this prior to waiting an entire month to be seen. Then when you arrive they all have different ideas and decisions about whether or not I am in fact allowed to wear contacts, but where are they? Not in stock like they should be of course. 2 months later and still no contacts. No phone call or communication otherwise to say if they're back ordered again or anything. Don't waste your time with this lazy incompetent business. Also save your money and buy your glasses online, their crackpipe pricing of flimsy plastic medical equipment is insane.

I loved All the staff. Very nice and helpful. I didn’t love the remote optometrist visit. I will not get an exam there again however lll visit for my eyewear needs as the staff is great

Scheduled an exam online to get contacts. I had to scramble and get in as soon as I could as I was almost out. Arrived and was told I might not be able to get contacts there since my visit was virtual and if I hadn't gotten them at this establishment in the past few years the Dr. might not let me purchase. Ugh...They could not tell me this before my appointment? Luckily I did purchase contacts in the past from them so I was good to go. I was called back to do the preliminary eye tests and the young woman was very good. When I finished i was seated in in the waiting room. The young woman who was helping me said the other woman would be with me shortly after she fixes her hair! (Weird comment, but okay)I had my virtual appointment and it went quick and easy. Back to the waiting room to get my contacts ordered and paid for. As I was sitting there several of the ladies working there were talking loudly and very inappropriately. I am so not a prude by any means but when you are out in the open and there are customers and children around you need to watch what you say. This went on the whole time I was waiting and the gentleman who was also working there just chuckled and made a comment saying "I bet you didn't expect this while you were here."Oh well. I got my contacts ordered and everything worked out. Overall not a bad appointment but really...when you work in the public you need to be professional.

The pair of glasses we ordered came in broke as and had to be sent back. When we received the "ones we ordered" they were completely different.I don't care that that they messed up. I care that they lied to our faces and told us that they were the ones we ordered.Glasses also don't work as good as from other optical care options. If you really need to save money then go here at your risk.

Waited a month for an eye exam and then glasses, the day of the exam they cancelled due to power issues. Called back to go in and now I have to get at the end of the schedule line....again. Very poor service to the customer.

The staff here are fantastic. They've resolved issues with my prescription two times now without any difficulty whatsoever. I've been coming here for years, and I've never had a single issue with billing, customer service, or ordering glasses/contacts.
