I am heading in for my first appt today at 3:30pm. I need to be home by 6. My ins covers me there at the Vestal NY location is where my appt is. I am a bit concerned now. After reading these reviews I am concerned for timing as I don't have several hours to kill. I am also concerned for how I will be treated. Lastly, if every post is about financials vs teeth then I really feel like cancelling. I do not want to feel like I am buying a car. I need my teeth fixed and maybe I will do a cleaning after that. Will want and see how this visit goes. Thanks for all of the posts. I will post again post visit :-)

Had an incident in Rochester when I was going to college where Aspen used my insurance to pay for somebody else's procedure. Then they went after me for the money. Had to hire a lawyer to get them off my back. It was their screw up. Anyway fast forward 20 years and Id thought I'd give them another shot. Showed up at 8am, won't get out of work till 10:30pm tonight and they denied to see me "I was taken off the list". Yeah not doing this again.

The office was bright and clean and state-of-the-art. I had a few qualms about a "chain" dentist, but not any more. All of the people I dealt with were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I have a new dentist!

My appointment was for 730a.m. I arrived at 710a.m. because it was my first visit. I did all the paperwork needed and was checked in at 720a.m. I waited until 8a.m. before I was called in for xrays. After that was taken into an office and waited until 835 for the dentist to come in. He did his examination and explained everything to Me. I was sent to a waiting room to see the financial person at 855. I sat and waited until 930 and finally I said I have to leave because I have a 10a.m appointment. 2.5 hours? Really and I still wasn't done. .5 hr. late getting in after arriving early? I was told they would call me this afternoon to go over the financial things. It's 540p.m. still nothing. It was awful. My time is valuable also. I'm going to see if I can find a dentist that cares. Very poor business. Great first impression.

Yes the visit was very pleasant, the dentist was very professional and polite. The hygienic she was the best, she treated me like I was her sister her friend she answered all my questions and she explain step by step was doing in my mouth and talk what about the gold for the future visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The dentist was ok but by the time you leave they sit you down trying to explain why you need to pay a ridiculous amount of money. All the while they’re supposed to be participating provider and my services are covered 100%. Makes no sense every time you go they try to get money out of you.

I had a dental cleaning appointment today. It was my first time with hygienist Bree. She was cold towards me and rough with by teeth. Customer facing individuals need to be friendly and calm towards patients. She was the complete opposite. I hope she can be taught that her job entails politeness and the need to put a patient at ease.In addition, the billing was off again. They were charging me for dental cleaning which is covered by my insurance. This is no way to conduct business!! I will be reporting this practice to Better Business Bureau.

Great initial impression. X-rays and dental plan only today but the plan is in place to keep a healthy smile. With insurance it’s still a bit expensive but then again what isn’t this day and age.
