I just bought my 3rd car from Rob Finta, as usual it was an easy buying experience. Rob is very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and just a pleasure to work with. I will be buying from him again, he's pretty amazing along with all of his coworkers that I had the pleasure of working with through this process. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend Matthews Subaru to anyone.

I must say, that thus far, I've been very impressed with the customer service as well as everyone working there. What especially caught my attention on my very first visit, was how polite the staff was. I also appreciated that the techs were doing there best to save on your expenses where possible, so I never had the thought that I was going to get ripped off. I hope that you keep this up. Thanks!

I got my Subaru serviced last week at Matthew’s Auto in Vestal using the Express option . The employees are always very courteous and professional. Chris was very accommodating and my car was ready when he told me it would be. The Service Dept. is superior to a few other dealerships I have dealt with in the past. They go the extra mile. A very satisfied customer.

I am new to a big dealership, as our reliable small garage folded recently. I bought new tires at Mathews and appreciated the shuttle back and forth. This time I needed an oil change, so went to the express service and wound up waiting for more than three hours while they located a “crush ring”. Had I known it would have taken so long, I would have opted for the shuttle ride home and back but no one told me the wait would be so long.

My experience at Matthews Car Dealership has been very positive. I've bought two new vehicles there and had them consistently serviced since 2003. Friendly people! I'm sold on Subaru. The service has been great as well. I've come to think of my car salesman, Mike, as a friend. Keep up the good work!

I went to Matthews in October 2023 for my first 6 month car check up on a vehicle I bought in April 2023. I was told this appointment was for oil change and tire rotation, as per the schedule in the manual. Upon completion of the service, I received a code for a free basic car wash down the street, which I appreciated. The appointment was timely and efficient, taking about an hour-as predicted. The place was busy but there were enough workers on hand that it seemed no one had to wait longer than anticipated. Staff was friendly and helpful. I discussed several discounts and was awarded the best one available. The only issue I had was when I asked (the worker who brought me my key and told me my car was ready) when my wheels needed balancing, not just tires rotating, I was told "when the car begins to shake", which is obviously the wrong answer as there should be a preventative maintenance schedule. Perhaps another worker would have told me the correct information. Otherwise, it was a good appointment. While I had to drive an hour to get there, it's better than the Subaru dealer in my town so I will be back-and I'll also check the manual for the items scheduled to be serviced before my next appointment.

Matthews Subaru once again never fails to amaze me with their incredible customer service. We have been customers for years and they have become family to us. Although the building as a whole is an incredible team, Gil Millard in the service department will make sure you are taken care of. He will keep you updated every step of the way and he will go above and beyond to give you the best customer experience during your car’s appointment to meet your expectations. They are truly the best dealership in town.

Once again. Wife and I gave these people a second chance to show customer service. Walked around the lot back and forth a couple of times and once again they failed to even acknowledge that we were there. After several minutes, we finally said we were done. This ahappened a few months ago but we actually went inside and witnessed a sLes man sitting at his desk watching you tube videos or something. Even inside we received no acknowledgment. Hence having the same experience again, we decided to go to Gault Toyota where we purchased a new RAV4. Your loss.

Our experience at Mathew’s was the best experience we’ve ever had to date. From their non pushy approach from Mike to the rest of their staff extremely helpful and friendly. Mike went above and beyond what you expect a salesman to do.He never asked us what the other prices were of vehicles we looked at but he did beat the price which was great. My wife and i were just talking about our experience the other day because he has a horrible experience at the last dealership we went to we’re doing what we should have done from the start and we’re going back to see Mike at Mathews. If your looking for a vehicle Mike’s your guy .

Rob was wonderful! He took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for in a car, identified the perfect vehicle for me. I absolutely love my Subaru and so very glad he was the salesman I worked with. I went to numerous places prior but did not get the undivided attention that I received from Rob. Mathews Subaru has a great service team and great prices. No “dealer prices”. Every time I had work done, they would let me know what needs to be fixed and the prices of it and the service is always relatively quick and easy. Very friendly staff as well, and accommodating. I would recommend anyone to Mathew's Subaru for service.
