I have been fairly active in the audio hobby for close to 60 years. While some shops were good none were as good and helpful as Robert and his partner, Scott. They have decades of accumulated knowledge and experience and are very forthcoming. They work by appointment only which is nice because you have all their attention with no distractions.
By their recommendation I just purchased a streaming device that exceeded my expectations. Couldn’t be happier.

Best Audio Shop in Upstate New York. Bob, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and trustworthy. Over the past 30 years, I have purchased a lot of terrific equipment from him.

Best hi-fi shop around the Rochester region. I was all over the place with my system until I hit the breaking point with a system I couldn't tame. I thought my issue was my speakers and it ended up being my preamp/amp. The Analog shop got me on the right track and now I have a system I don't want to upgrade (sorry). Now I just crank tunes and am happy.

This is my favorite hi fi shop and is where I've made all my speaker, amp, cd player etc purchases in the past decade. They carry a lot of the most well respected and reviewed brands in the audio industry. They carry amps, pre amps, cd players, DACS, turntables, speakers, cables, tone arms etc (everything you can think of hi fi related). The owners name is Bob and he will make sure you're taken care of. Anything from a small system to dock your iPhone to, or a giant system for your great room, Bob will get it for you. I'm pretty sure this is the only true hi fi shop left in the greater Rochester area. I'd recommend calling Bob and making an appointment. That way you can have one on one time with him without having to deal with other people in the shop.
