I'm an avid fan of bargains. When they have their sales....I'm like a kid in a candy store. I purchased a handbag (that would retail price over $100...) for $25. Also their appliances are great quality when buying them at clearance.

Spent an hour finding the perfect special occasion gown at the perfect price, only for the manager to refuse to sell it to me after she was unable to figure out how to get the magnetic security tag off! What a disappointing, unprofessional waste of my time.

This is a furniture store in Queens Place Mall, on the ground floor. Lots of space, showroom feel. It's mostly living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture. I didn't see much in the way of office, study, or outdoor products.

im here at Macy's in Victor to help my mother in law purchase a king adjustable bed set. she already knows the model that she wants because she had been here before. I had to go search for someone and when I finally found someone she told me that she doesn't work in furniture and doesn't know anything about it but the salesperson who does know is on lunch break. just then the salesperson walks by and she asked him if he was done with his break because there's a customer who needs help. he says he has 20 more minutes for his lunch and kept on walking. so here we are waiting to give these folks money. This very poor customer service.

I purchased 4 items from a Macy's Backstage in Long Island for Mother's Day. My mother decided to keep the 3 of the 4, so I brought them back to the Eastview Mall location to return them. I had the gift receipt, the regular receipt and had my Macy's credit card with me. I was told I could not return them because I took off the price sticker. I said the receipt only says I need the original tags and never worn, both were true. I also pointed out most people take off the prices when giving a gift. The woman was dismissive and told me her system couldn't help me, and in fact no one could help me and gave me my items back. I understand POS systems and restrictions and understand the difference between backstage and regular Macy's but I am pretty sure that didn't need to be the end of it.

This Yelp is longgg overdue, as I've been coming back to the same sales rep, Eric for many years now and each time he deserved an amazing Yelp review. Eric has always been so helpful, gone above and beyond and knows his stuff. I highly recommend asking for him, as he knows the product and his professional and warm spirit- makes it all the better!

Last time at Macy's I found so many things for such great pricing. Also the lady was helping me it was super super helpful.I was able to get all I need and more since the price was so low that I couldn't resist it.

After looking everywhere for a classy grey bedroom set which was affordable and would fit in my room, I stumbled upon the Macy's showroom and fell in love the bed set I now own. Angel was super friendly and helpful in helping me purchase the set, and in setting up the delivery. It did take a few months for it to arrive (ordered in Nov 2020, delivered in March 2021), but that's COVID I guess. The delivery guys were quick and efficient, but I wish they had communicated with me more. They ended up just coming in and putting my furniture together, and were quick to leave, without making sure I was satisfied with the arrangement of the furniture and letting me check the furniture for any defects before they left until I stopped them and asked them to wait. Just felt like they could have been more considerate and made sure I was happy with the final product before rushing out the door. Not a big deal, so not dinging a star, just something to keep in mind for the future.

Ordered a sofa in August. The "delivery to warehouse" date was postponed so many times without even notifying us. Finally they settled in warehouse delivery by Nov. 2. Today is 11/19 and I haven't heard anything. I just called Macy's and they are saying the date was pushed back to dec. 14. I'm cancelling my order. I cannot even describe my anger. I HAVE NO SOFA FOR FOUR MONTHS.

How is this place still in business??? Now I know why the reviews are so dismal. I ordered a bed and mattress from this place on the first of September. After calling several times, once I was on hold for 57 minutes, they set my delivery date for October 14. Yes, you read that correctly 6 WEEKS after I ordered the bed AND I had to continually call to get the delivery date. The gentlemen come into my home to see where the bed is going to be placed. I show them, they bring in their tools and then they remove my existing mattress/box spring and put on the truck. The delivery/setup men then open up the box with the parts for my bed only to discover that they don't all of the pieces necessary for the bed! They called the warehouse people, we called Macy's customer service, we called Macy's Furniture Gallery and I got shuffled around to about 6 different people. The last answer I got was stock on that bed no longer exists and they don't have the pieces for it! The first idiot I spoke to at Macy's customer service didn't even apologize for the complete lack of professionalism of the whole interaction. Everyone from the sales person to the delivery people to the customer service MUST be retrained. Delivery people - Do NOT remove the existing furniture until you have verified that you have all of the pieces for the new items you are setting up. Customer Service - At a minimum offer an apology because you are the dummies that messed up my order and delivery. I go back to Macy's Furniture Gallery in Queens, to get a comparable bed that could be delivered quickly. Macy's absolutely refused to honor the price of the bed I had purchased 6 weeks prior. Any bed that I saw that was similar, they refused to give me the same price and repeatedly offered me a new bed with a 10% discount. My salesperson, Basil, who was on vacation when the whole delivery debacle occurred, called me when he returned from vacation the next week and accused me of giving him a bad review without verifying the details of my order. Also, BASIL, the salesperson at Macy's Furniture Gallery on Queens Blvd in Elmhurst, Queens, told me on October 18th that he would look into my order and call me back to get me a bed. Today is November 16th and I am still waiting for that call. My best advice to anyone considering purchasing at Macy's Furniture Gallery - please, please go to Raymour & Flanighan instead. Macy's Furniture Gallery is awful. The service, the sales team, the customer service representatives, the delivery people (who are an outside vendor) all need to be trained properly. Trust me and do not spend your money here.

purchased a simmons mattress , about 1000+ bucks. scheduled delivery date in early nov. it was clear that automatic email system sent you message including: purchase order information (email) expected delivery date (email) expected delivery date three days in advance (voice) your delivery cannot make it two days in advance. (voice) leave you a choice of : 1. reschedule your delivery (earliest available is three weeks later) 2. change order 3. cancel order ** i chose to cancel ** use a different phone number to call customer service and you will talk to real person ; otherwise, your phone call (that left on the salescheck number) will direct to the automatic voice system. ** do not quote on me "due to covid-19, the manufacturer/warehouse is running 25% capacity"

Bought a rather pricy sectional couch almost two years ago and were happy with the instore service, delivery, and product. We are in the market for a new queen size bedroom set (bed, dresser, chest, side tables, mirror, etc...) so we stopped by. Had to hunt down a salesperson. When we asked a few basic questions and made it clear we were seriously looking, and even pointed out the three options we had settled on, his attitude was completely indifferent. Do I expect anyone to fall over themselves? Absolutely not. But I do expect the salesperson to at least talk price and other basic info. It was like pulling teeth to get any info at all. We were prepared to spend a few thousand dollars, but will likely do so where we can at least get interested service. Incidentally, I did look up all three sets on the Macy's site. All three are well within our budget, if not surprisingly below what we were prepared to spend. Hope that salesperson doesn't work on commission, because with his indifferent attitude, he lost a nice chunk of change in his wallet.

Macy's customer service never told me that my couch got delayed twice! I wasn't notified the first time or the second time my couch got delayed until I called customer service and got hung up or put on hold 3 times in one day! After finally trying to speak to a representative they said the warehouse is just a little behind to expect an email from them within the next few days. I have yet to get a clear response on my couch after purchasing it a month and half ago. I am completely understanding due to COVID-19 many things have gotten difficult and items are taking longer than usual but Macy's the one company I thought I could rely on for my furniture has unfortunately not been very professional. All I expected was to be notified if my couch was delayed or what's the status of it. I DO HAVE TO SAY, the salesman at this actual Macy's, Eric, was beyond nice and soo so helpful when I went to look for a couch! He followed up with me with any questions I had he made this process so easy and great for me! My issue is more with Macy's warehouse/customer service

Awful customer service; my recliner broke and I've been waiting one month for the required piece. I've had techs come to my home four times and 3/4 times Macy's sent the wrong part! How is this acceptable? I spent a lot of money on my sectional, for what? To look at a broken recliner for almost TWO months now? Beware if something goes wrong you may be waiting for months. I hope this gets rectified because if it does not I will go to the better business bureau.
