Kitten Korner Rescue comes here on a regular basis to try to adopt kittens out who are not always fully vaccinated or are sick. If Larraine, who runs the rescue, gives a kitten or kittens vaccines or treatments she always gives the kitten or kittens the vaccines & or other treatments in the Women's Restroom in the back of the store. I know for a fact that she's been told not to give any vaccines & or other treatments anywhere in the store. She was told she could give vaccines & or other treatments in her own personal vehicle. She tells EVERYONE that she doesn't care what the manager says & she'll do whatever she wants to do regardless of what they say. She refuses & doesn't give 2 cares to even respect & or listen to the rules she has been given from the very beginning.

Tried buying a gecko here and the person would not sell us the gecko unless we bought the 20 gallon tank. We had a 10 gallon tank (which is recommended for the size) that was even advertised as "leapord gecko" tank on the packaging that they were selling at this location. When the employee continuously told us that we COULD NOT buy the gecko unless we bought the 20 gallon tank, we said we would shop somewhere else for a tank and she said that we would have to provide picture evidence of the tank after we bought it in order to bring it home. We even called other PetSmarts and other stores and no other store has a rule like this. Completely ridiculous.

Brought in my 80+ lb German Shepherd/Collie mix for Furninating/Bathing/Nail Clipping and Spring cleanup. Grace was our care provider and she was just outstanding! Took 2-hours and the boy looks fabulous!
Make sure to tell them BEFORE they start not to use the perfume spray at the end.

3/1/24: The workers were friendly & helpful. They did not have a flat heavy scratching pad. I don't want a cardboard scratching pad. The rescue cats ? that were waiting to be adopted were loveable & sad. They need good homes!

Wanted to buy an apple snail. Associate would not let me purchase one because I said my tank didn’t have a heater. They do not need heated tanks. Quick google search. The tank is set up with plants between two heated tortoise tanks. Had the same kind of snail in colder water, lived happily for 6 years. Guy was also short and rude and offered no suggestions just “no”. It’s a snail it’s not that hard.

The place looks good but if you take your dog to get his nails trimmed expect at least one of their quicks to be cut. When we got him home he bled all over the carpet.

I went in to purchase fish for my 10 gallon tank and was told my Ari that she wasnt going to sell me any fish because I have a male beta in a 10 gallon tank. Let me explain a few things since Petsmart doesnt seem to care to educate their associates. Betas ARE aggressive, but when put in an appropriate sized tank and with fish who dont have similar fins, they do very well. I've had fish for 10+ years AND have worked at Petsmart before. Luckily for me I had a Petcare Lead who actually knew what she was talking about. Ari was completely rude and acted like she knew more that I did about a fish tank she had never even seen or taken care of. My advice? Dont even go here. Do your own research. Youre better off learning on your own than from the hacks that work here. They are completely clueless. And the fact that Ari is a keyholder? Thats laughable. Any other pet store will work better Petsmart.

I love that petsmart has an area set up for adoption days to help animals find their fur-ever homes. They even rent the space out to different humans societies and shelters! Also, I LOVE THAT THEY ACTUALLY DONATE the goods they have that would otherwise get thrown away. Unlike petco! #FPetco
