I went to speedway to buy cigarettes, i brought my son in the store because he wanted candy when we went ti purchase the cigarettes i was told that my son needed to show his ID. My son in a minor and does not have a id… she told me “he shouldve stayed in the car” i do not like leaving my son alone… she refused to sell me cigarettes afterwards.
The employee looked very unwell possibly under the influence of substances.
Ive never in my 48 years of living have i had such a horrible experience… this speedway has really gone downhill..

I entered the gas station with my mother and the employee asked for my id, because my mother was buying cigarettes. I feel like it’s wrong to ask for a 14 years old id because he was his mother. Then when I said I didn’t have an id she told me to go back to the car like she was my mother. This lady looked crazy. I wouldn’t recommend going to this gas station

New employee was on drugs and refused to sell my mother cigarettes because she entered the store with my little brother, asking for a 14 year olds id…. Very sad that they hire literally anyone….
Can’t even go into a gas station with your children, you’re told to leave them in the car . Or they ask for a little kids ID…. I called cooperate but I feel like nothing will be done…
I’ve lived in wading river for over 14 years and never had such a awful encounter…
If I could leave zero stars I would..

Awesome convenience, store, and gas station. They have pretty much everything, if they don’t have it chances are you don’t need it.

Video ads at the pumps are so loud and irritating that I stopped pumping gas before my tank was full. Will avoid this place from now on if I can- yikes!

If I cd give this station a zero I would. I will not patronize this station any longer even though it is the closest station to my home. Since the new owners (or managers) have taken over, we can never get a receipt at the pump. Customers must go inside and ask for a receipt. The people working the cash register are the most unfriendly, angry looking, unhelpful people on the planet. They are obviously foreigners with no customer skills or even the slightest inkling of pleasantness. Nasty cold aloof ogres IYAM. If the owners are getting this review I urge the owners to either talk some sense in to them or fire them and hire good responsible helpful employees. Peace
