Home Goods is such an awesome place. They have something for everyone and the one in Wainscott was beautiful! Everything was neat and tidy and the displays were impeccable. Home Goods offers some beautiful items at reasonable prices. This location is in the heart of the Hamptons and still has great buys. Why would you spend top dollar in a Hamptons Boutique to decorate your home, when you can furnish your place from top to bottom at Home Goods! They have a fantastic selection of cocktail napkins I must say!

Thank you Carol Brian and Karine for assisting me in selecting some beautiful items for my home, such as a painting, end tables, and leather chair area rug and storage bench last summer. They all look great in my living room. You were all super helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back this summer on our vacations out East to shop here again! This store of all the Home Goods is the best that have shopped in! Well managed and thoughtful employess!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So when we were normally shopping, we wanted to use the elevator to use the bathroom and a worker hit the painting aggressively and yelled once we went down and me and my sibling were confused and he yelled at us for just using the elevator which is outrageous.

Not only is this the nicest HomeGoods I've been to, with carefully curated merchandise to suit the Hamptons vibe, but the staff is SUPER NICE, helpful and always welcoming. And dogs are welcome! I've found that other HomeGoods staff can be less than helpful and not so friendly. I always make the Wainscott store my go-to place !

I normally wouldn't write a review for Homegoods or a store like this but because I want to remember this store so I can come back it would be the reason for the review. This Homegoods store is freaking meticulously kept and it definitely has a lot nicer selection than most hence why I want to come back. While yes they have higher end items such as a HUGE selection of All-Clad pots and pans. I appreciated it because I was able to snag an All-Clad item I was about to purchase from Sur La Table but glad I didn't because I got it at this Homegoods. I also bought a couple other items that I wanted and need for my future home with my future hubs. Will I be back? You bet!

I am still shocked at my horrific shopping experience at the Home Goods in Wainscott, Long Island in New York on Sunday, 3/26/23. I entered the store at 7:30pm, a female associate let me know that the store was closing in 20 minutes - I found what I was looking for in 8 minutes and went to check out and pay at 7:38pm. At the register, two female associates were standing at register 3 so I proceeded with my items. The older female associate with a rude and unwelcoming tone told me to go to register 1 because register 3 was “closed” while the two associates were trying to figure out why they couldn’t reopen the register. At register 1, the associate realized that she is having the same issue where she could not open the register since the store is showing “closed.” Two more customers come to pay for their items and we were all told to come back tomorrow since the store was closed and they couldn’t ring us up. We all asked why and how because it was 7:41pm and the store is still technically open until 8pm. There is still 19 more minutes before closing time. I asked if the associates can reopen the cash registers so we can pay for our items and I was fine to wait for them to figure it out. Both female associates laughed and said there is no way they can do that since they are closing - basically they did not want to try. The reason why their registered were all locked was because these associates decided to close the store early today while leaving cash in all the registers. The older associate called her manager and kept saying “well I can’t open the registers to move the cash!” Well, this probably wouldn’t have happened if they weren’t in such a rush to close the store at 7:30pm on a Sunday night instead of closing at 8pm - the advertised closing time. The couple that walked in after me, were told that the store is closing in 10 minutes at 7:35pm. This is a horrible representation of Home Goods by turning away customers who were ready to pay for their items. These two associates were not apologetic at all and even yelled over to the male associate on the floor to “go and lock the doors and make sure everyone is out and don’t let anyone else in” at 7:45pm. I don’t live nearby this Home Goods location and assuming that everyone can just come back the next day to pick up their items is very inconvenient. Your employees should do better and be more empathetic - what a disaster. I used to love coming to this location but after this experience… you just lost a loyal customer and cardholder.
