Be changing my direct deposits after first of the year. I would ask to change my change my card with a new number maybe once a year or so for security purposes and to eliminate recurring charges. On two occasions I reported fraud on my card one of which they refunded but then said I could not get a new card because I have requested replacements as indicated above for those reasons. Found the manager to be an arrogant coot and now I have to withdraw my money and deposit into my Bank of America account to have the use of a card. BOA is a better choice with many more locations closer to my residence.

I've had an account for over ten years. In those ten years there have been multiple red flags. One time I deposited money into my account and it was placed into some random guys account and it was a big deal getting it back into mine. One time I moved and changed my billing address at the bank. The bank changed the address of everyone with my last name. My family all had to go out of their way to change their address to their own address. Multiple times I have bought something and asked if it was fraud. I acknowledge that it is me shopping and the card is still shut down and my orders blocked. The app never works and the employees at the bank are not able to help you when it does not work. It's so stressful trying to use this bank and unnecessary. I'm done and will be withdrawing all my money at this point

This is the WORST bank! I'm not sure what happened because I've used them for multiple services over the last 20 years and recently I've encountered nothing but incompetence on every level. I have closed all my accounts with them, both personal and business. The only thing I occasionally use is the ATM, and they can't even get that right! Their touchscreen is not working properly and ate my card. When I asked for help I was told by an employee and a manager that I was on my own and that they would do absolutely nothing to help me because they claimed the ATM in their parking lot that says 'Walden Savings Bank', on it, isn't their responsibility. Seriously?!

All this bank does is charge you overdraft and eod fees even when you have overdraft off. Do not regret leaving this bank at all. Do not get an account here. Everything takes DAYSSSS to process. If you set a payment to get paid on a Friday that doesn’t come out sometimes until the following Thursday. And they’re not like other banks that will take that out and give you an available balance they keep your balance the same. If you’re young and don’t balance a checkbook like the boomers this bank is NOT FOR YOU! go with a bank that has a decent app and good customer service and policies. For example a big bank that just did away with overdraft and EOD fees.

I'm not from the area but used Walden Savings Bank to have a bill of sale notarized when I purchased a used vehicle. I called twice during the week beforehand to make sure that a notary would be on staff that Saturday morning. I received friendly service during those phone calls and when getting the document notarized, a service that ended up being free of charge. A very pleasant experience throughout, so this review is the least that I can do.

Told the bank I was traveling for work so be aware and please do not lock my card. Traveled 7 hours away get to hotel and they lock my card for fraud. Then the app is down so cannot transfer money to another card. Had to sleep in my car. Called the bank today and the ladies confirmed my travel was notes but suggested I get a different card for hotels since that triggers the fraud. I’m at loss here. I’m sure this won’t be the last time.
