We stayed at this warm and cozy bed and breakfast in October 2023 and we experienced an amazing weekend with friendliness and top notch service with acute attention. Our room was very clean and we felt like we were stepping into a room filled with a lot of history of detoxing from the city life and much needed relaxation. The owners are a lovely couple dedicated to the true meaning of human kindness and what America is really missing these days. They opened up their home to us like we’ve known them for decades. We didn’t want to leave! Sal created breakfast treats each morning with Beverly by his side. Their dining area is a place where all their guests are kings and queens for the morning festivities. We enjoyed the conversation with the other guests and we all proceeded to eat delicious breakfast goodies like one big happy “Familia!”We plan on visiting Sal and Beverly again, like we would be visiting our distance LOVED ONES. We not only had a great experience at their BB we made new friends and to be honest friends like Sal and Beverly only come about once in a lifetime. Thank you both for making our two days with you guys magnificent. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and May all your dreams come true for the holidays season that’s upon us. Love to you both…Pat and Jeanie Sforza

My wife and I went up to the Hudson Valley for a fall weekend getaway, and we stayed at this B&B. We had a fantastic experience here, the hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the space is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable with a king-sized bed. The location was perfect - close to Minnewaska state park, as well as several nearby towns and a few good restaurants. The breakfasts were the highlight of the experience! One of the hosts is a CIA-trained chef and he made fabulous food for us - chocolate-stuffed french toast, a great frittata, and more. They serve breakfast at a communal table, which is nice for getting to talk to the other guests there. We would definitely stay here again.

Staying in the 1796 house with Sal and Bev was exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast spread was local and delicious, and the living quarters were rustic and comfortable. Our dog also felt right at home and had plenty of space to run around the property. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back in the future.

We stayed at the 1796 Farmhouse while in town to participate in The Ride for Mental Health, a charity cycling event. Bev and Sal are wonderful humans who are so very welcoming. They had freshly made cookies, eggs from their chickens, organic bread and every little touch to make us feel at home. The house is filled with character and the grounds allow much relaxation. We contracted with Sal ahead of time to make dinner for us on Saturday evening which was the best decision ever! He even made sure he had a fire going outside afterwards for us to relax. We would most definitely stay here again! We loved our time at the Farmhouse and look forward to visiting again!

I planned a weekend birthday for my friend. I picked the location because it looked close to vineyards, hiking and New Platz. I couldn't have picked a better place. Beautiful, quiet, clean. Sal and Bev were incredibly easy to work with. The breakfasts are great and made fresh. You really feel like you're at home. My friends and I are already thinking about another weekend up here.

Warm, lovely and welcoming place. The location was very convenient. The home cooked food was terrific. Our hosts were patient and wonderful. We especially loved the fact that our dog and our children were welcomed with open arms.

Thank you Sal & Bev for hosting us recently! We have stayed at the Inn at the Ridge twice & have enjoyed our stay both times. Love the character of the house. Breakfast is amazing--a lot of options and everything is very tasty. We sat by fire one night and made s'mores & enjoyed looking at the stars. Bev provided us with day passes to the nearby Mohonk Preserve and went for an afternoon hike. After our first stay, Sal & Bev gave us a few heads of garlic grown in their garden, which was the best garlic I have ever tasted--incredible flavor! And after our second stay, I left with some very tasty hot sauce Sal made. All in all, a great place & looking forward to staying at the Inn at the Ridge again!

The property is beautiful with nice seating areas outside with bonfire or by the pond. Inside is cozy with comfy furnitures appointed with tons of pillows & quilts. Just relaxing sitting inside :-) It is short drive to Mohonk preserve where you can take a walk, rock climb or mountain bike and easy drive to many restaurants, orchards and wineries. The owners are great and very knowledgeable about the area. I wish I could stay longer
