I really love this store but I recently had a big problem with the pharmacy. I’ve been getting my prescriptions filled here for over a year, and never had any issues until today. I’m going away for Christmas so I reached out to my doctor for an early refill for my medication (requested six days early so we didn’t have any issues with the weekend or holiday) The doctor told me it was okay and put through the refill. The day they put it in cvs said they couldn’t fill it early and that i had came in and speak with the pharmacist. So I did that on Thursday and the gentleman working told me they he’d leave a note and put it through on Saturday. I came back on Saturday and the woman told me to come back today, Sunday. So I came back just now and was told that it was impossible to fill. This is frustrating, but not the end of the world as I know there are other solutions. The real problem I had is that the pharmacist, Shelby, treated me like I was a drug addict because I was requesting an incredibly low dose of adderall three days early. I asked her for possible solutions and she was downright mean to me, absolutely zero compassion or kindness towards me or my situation. I tried to talk with her to find ways to resolve the issue, and she seemed very angry with me for even asking what we could do. I suggested we send it to the cvs in the town I’m visiting, so I can get it on the day it’s due for refill, and again she was super mean and told me that’s not possible. I never have been treated so poorly by a pharmacist in my life, I was kind of shocked to be honest. I did exactly what three people told me to do, coming back here three times, and this woman basically acted like I was lying and was astonishing condescending towards me in front of a line of people. I’ve never had a single issue here, I’ve never picked up anything early or requested a refill before it’s due, but I guess asking for a medication three days before it’s due is enough to treat people like garbage. This makes me sad because I imagine how many other people she treats like this. Again, I don’t even need my medication yet and I wasn’t even begging for her her to fill it or anything, I was just trying to get a clear answer on how to solve the problem. Unfortunately I’m going to switch my medications to another pharmacy which sucks because I love this cvs and I’ve never had a single problem before. I just haven’t ever been treated this way at a pharmacy before (or any store for that matter) and it made me feel ashamed and embarrassed to do what the doctor told me to do.
I understand that pharmacies have rules and I respect that, thats why I went through all of the right channels to get this done the proper way. I understand some people aren’t meant to work in customer service and do anyway, and i understand that pharmacists have to deal with a lot of crap, but that doesn’t give them the right to be hurtful to people who are just doing what they were told by the other pharmacists and their doctor. I don’t know if this pharmacist has some type of personal issue with drug addicts, but it certainly seems like there’s something going on. Maybe she just had a bad day or is going through some personal stuff, who knows. I just hope this type of customer treatment isn’t standard for her. The other woman I spoke with yesterday and the gentleman I talked with on Thursday were very pleasant and kind, so it sucks to let one bad experience define a store. I also love the cashiers and people on the sales floor, they’re all amazing.

Every time I visit this store, I am always amazed at how wonderful the employees are. I live a distance away, but will make every effort to use this as my first choice of pharmacy store.
My vaccine appointments are so much smoother than at competitors and make it easy to access and share my information to my doctor. But the employees are the main draw. Special shout out to Gerry who always makes the extra effort to find the best Option and deal for the customer. She brings to your attention and coupons or specials that are happening specific to my needs.

Have had no problems with the pharmacy, and this place carries cold brew coffee which is impossible to find in this town.

Appointment made online for immunizations...arrived on time..pharmacy closed....again!about 4 weeks ago,left work early to pick up RX.....YOU GUESSED IT.....CLOSED.and they don't know why they're losing $$.no phone calls either.....too busy!.

This place could use an update big time. & it's a tad expensive. But then again, so is everything now-a-days. They do ALWAYS have the best holiday candy!! & the best sales on it after the holiday has passed.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! The staff is super rude. My mother mentioned that they hired new people and the woman told her, "everyone quit because of people like you." Id you have an issue they will always blame a third party. It's always your insurance fault or your provider. They will never own up to thier mistakes. I've gotten texts saying my prescription is ready and then when inget there it's not. I'll show them the message and they ignore it. I called in a prescription for my daughter, when I went to pick it up three days later they said it's backordered. Now my daughter is without her medication while I try to get authorization at another pharmacy. If they had just called me when the prescription was sent in three days prior we wouldn't have a problem. Only reason they are still in business is because they are one of two pharmacys in town. I'm switching to UHS at Delaware Valley Hospital. I encourage all to do so as well.

The management in this store is lacking professionalism.. Waited for a call back for days on a position.. I called the store numerous times, said they would know answers in 2 days, never received any follow up.. And they wonder why there no staff

Interviewed, manager told me they want me, would send offer letter via email. Waited 3 days. Called store, manager on vacation, told to call back Saturday. Called Saturday, told she's not back till Monday. Called Monday, told not back till Tuesday at noon. Called Tuesday at 2. Told she's having car trouble and to call back later on. Called at 5,finally spoke with her, now 10 days After interview, very short, unapologetic, said the pay rate was rejected (the pay rate that they told me to ask for). Said she emailed offer to higher up and that I would hear from her in 48 hours ( Thursday). Now it's 3 weeks later, I've since been offered another job, and no response ever received back. Horrible front end manager, very unprofessional. And they wonder why they're short staffed

I don't know if this has to do with CVS but I wish the pharmacy would be a little more discreet while helping customers.
