Really cool place to shop in a gorgeous, small town. They had everything from produce, to snacks, to souvenirs. It was full of fun items and decorated pretty eclectic as well. I would definitely come here again!

Otto's is the best. It is the only place to get real craft beer between Watertown and Lake Placid. In fact, it is probably the best store between those two points in general. Fresh fruit, ADK maps, hiking accessories. snacks, drinks etc. it's smaller but honestly has whatever you need. If you are going down route 3 or staying in the Star Lake or Cranberry Lake area, its worth stopping in.

This is my first stop when I am back in the hamlet of Wanakena. For a small store, they alway seem to have exactly what I am looking for. From snacks to supplies, to something for the grill (and more). The store is the hub of the hamlet and the great team that runs it, is truly appreciated!

This amazing general store is a work of art in itself. There’s something to catch your eye, feed your stomach and soul, and make you smile in every nook and cranny. If you see a sign for Wanakena, turn in and come directly to Otto’s Abode where you’ll find Nolan Fedorow, the artist and proprietor.

Authentic Adirondack Establishment: It is worth it to come far and wide for real home crafted products such as local maps. As well as high quality food stuffs and a wonderful cooler selection. The owner of Otto's abode also features a wide selection of local music. If you are looking to experience the culture of this wonderful area this is a sure stop.

Otto's Abode is definitely worth a stop and repeated stops. It is a well stocked small store with a variety of food items, a walk-in cooler with many beverages, a fantastic proprietor and a stop worth making if you're traveling through the North country. .

Very glad I stopped in. Such a convenient store full of essentials and the gentleman working the front counter was super friendly and helpful. Next time I'm in The Five Ponds, I'll have to stop by again. Also the black fly patches really work!

The best little corner store for miles around! A store where you can find a clever mix of delicious treats, craft beer, essential staples and beautiful artwork. It was also evident that this spot is a hub for community building with many sponsored events. As a tourist in the area I was very grateful for some excellent hiking advice. I will go back every time I'm in the area!

Wonderful little place in a wonderful little community! A little oasis in a food desert. Always an assortment of fresh fruits and veggies which is very welcome in an area where it's an hour drive to anywhere else. Also they have just about every other thing you may need stuffed into an awesome little store! Always stop here while out and about. ?
