The CVS at 1178 Wantagh Avenue has a private area for vaccinations and appointments done online are convenient. The adjacent stores are great.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for the last 4 years and it’s been great. Short wait, meds in stock. Staff helpful & friendly. Pharmacist’s were great. I don’t know what happened but the last 3 or 4 months it’s been terrible. I’m going to have to use a new pharmacy unfortunately.

I've been shopping at this CVS location over 20 yesrs. I always have a good experience. An employee, Anna, noticed me searching for something & I didn't have to ask for her help; she just offered it. She was very professional & sweet. She took me to the product & made sure I got what I needed, very much appreciated! Thank you Anna!,

The pharmacist could use a reality check. I went in asking if I could take a certain cough medicine with other pills I'm on and she said yes. After two days of being sick and not knowing why. My body was going into serotonin syndrome symptoms. Never go to this lady for questions she will lie straight to your face. Sad this is the face of health.

This CVS is always understaffed and the employees that are there are rude. Do yourself a favor and go to the CVS in Bellmore instead.

Very disappointed with CVS @ 1178 Wantagh Ave. the phone system is really awful, you cannot get to speak with a pharmacist at all, you have to leave a message, My biggest complaint is that neither the pharmacist Peter nor the manager Gaby(which by the way refused to give me her name!!!! I just went to the front of the store and asked another employee for her name) wanted to help me at all. I get my son’s seizure meds from another pharmacy which they did not have the meds so I suggested they transfer the prescription to the CVS in Wantagh, at that point I was asked to call CVS to make sure they had it for tonight even a partial would be ok. I called for 15 minutes with no results, the pharmacist put me on hold and she called CVS, got thru and asked Peter if they had the meds needed for tonight, even a partial would be ok. He said he had them, we get call from him saying they do not have them, they had to order them. I went to the store and spoke with Peter and he twisted everything saying the other pharmacist never told him it was for tonight( I was on the other line listening to the call) and he even said my sons insurance does not cover the meds when he gets the meds every month. I spoke with Gaby(the manager) and of course sided with Peter and I was told CVS in Bayshore had 2 pills and I could go pick them up. I asked for the CVS to deliver the meds to me and Gaby said they could not do that because its a liability. Question: CVS offers delivery of meds all the time, so why now is it a liability??? I guess they thought they were speaking with an idiot?? Because that question was not answered by Gaby. Just be VERY careful when you need meds that you need to take on time every day, because they will NOT help you.

Worst Pharmacy. Always a line. So slow. I’m changing pharmacies because today 12 in the afternoon there were 10 people on line and 6 people waiting for prescriptions to be filled. Just kept watching the incompetence of the staff telling customers contradicting information and wasting everyone’s times. I go in and they said my prescription wasn’t ready but it’s been a week since I asked it to be filled. Then I asked about another prescription and they said oh we didn’t fill it because insurance wouldn’t cover it. I said no one ever told me that the staff member was just like…oh..well go to drop off window and tell them you want to pay out of pocket. I wait 5 minutes to finally speak to someone and her incompetence made me just walk away from her put what I was holding on the nearest surface and walk out. I’m done with this place
