This is a review for all the CVS stores. You added self checkout. Great. Some of your stations don't accept cash. Not great. But ALL of these stations have an annoying, interfering employee breathing down your neck while you're trying to complete a purchase. Sometimes people use self checkout because they prefer privacy in what they're purchasing. They don't appreciate a stranger scrutinizing everything in their basket. If you have self checkout scam concerns then don't have self checkout. I'm very experienced (and honest!) when using self checkout. Today your employee was about two inches from me directing my every move. I said I know how to do it. He moved closer. Not cool. Very uncomfortable. There are hundreds of CVS stores around, but there are also other stores that are very similar that can be patronized. Please rethink this intrusive policy before I rethink going to another chain store.

I just want to be able to go into cvs and not be harassed about the new rewards program. I don't care if I get 10 dollars off my purchase. I just want to get my s*** and get out. Today one of the cashiers kept telling me about the new rewards program after I said no multiple times. I said no maybe 5 times and she kept going on and on then got an attitude when I finally said can you please ring my stuff up. Then she proceeded to give me my 63 cents in only dimes, nickels and pennies. Are you f****** kidding me? I had a s*** ton of crap in my hands n I was struggling to pick up all the change I was given because I didn't want to sign up for the new f****** rewards program. Also last time I checked I cashier at a local ice cream shop and I was taught to start with quarters then Work my way down. Anyways I've gone to that cvs my whole life but will no longer be going there anymore. I truly hope someone in management sees this because I'm sick this s**** Get it the f*** together. I don't leave yelp reviews because I don't care enough to but the interaction I had today truly made my skin crawl. Hopefully someday in the future I'll be able to go back to my alma mater cvs. But as of now I'll be going to the seaford cvs. F*** you Wantagh and f*** the new rewards program

I had a terrible experience with Cassandra the cashier. She was trying to sell the CarePass program to me and was insistent on selling it to me even after telling her five times during my checkout that I'm not interested. She was rude and her attitude when I said no was appalling. She even laughed when I didn't donate a dollar to whatever was prompted on the screen. It's truly because of interactions like this and a poorly trained staff with no manners or understanding of when to back off that will be the reason why stores like this won't survive with Amazon out there. Get some customer service skills and train your staff to understand how to speak to a customer- unfortunately I will not be shopping here in the future.
