Update- I was never contacted so I guess this is classic case of lack of leadership and accountability by those running the show. This service department is an absolute circus. I dropped my car on Wednesday and each passing day received no updates. No one answers the phone even though they are fully staffed. The assistant manager is an actual joke of a person and when I told her I left a message and never heard back from her she said "I sit in the front and don't have time to return calls" they were rude and made up excuses. 6 days later I get my car back and it was a simple battery replacement. They told me they would submit it to Jeep for reimbursement but never did and told me I have to. I wouldn't waste your time or money on these clowns.

I debated posting this but decided people need to know and not have their time wasted like I did. Last night I went in to buy a new challenger, I walked out when I was told I would need to pay 50k OVER sticker. I have been laughing about it with everyone I know at this point. If they would have told me that over the phone or via email (in the multiple exchanges) it would have saved me my time. But instead I was baited in so they could tell me the dealer add on in person. Terrible experience.

Very disappointed in the service I received this week on my Jeep. I brought it in for a power train issue which was covered under warranty and they took it upon themselves to do an inspection and put on a new wiper blade without calling me to inform me. I had to call them a few days after I brought it in to find out the status of my car since I never received a call, text, or email. They told me it was finished and ready for pickup but had never called me themselves. When I went to pick it up they gave me the charges and I said listen I will pay for the inspection because it is almost due but not $60 extra for a wiper blade and the manager was pretty rude to myself and told me I approved it and to check my email and text which I showed him I received nothing. After back and forth for over 10 minutes I ended up paying the full price and was extremely upset. He did not seem to care and it was by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I will never take my Jeep back here again.

By far the worst service department I have ever dealt with, I should have stayed with Westbury Jeep as I had used them for my 2016 Ram.I bought a new 2022 Ram pick up at Merrick on a reference from a friend and had a great experience with the sales team. Included with the purchase their VIP service package offers free oil changes but that should have been the 1st sign of lack of training and skill in the shop. 3 oil changes and each time oil covered the cross member and undercarriage of the vehicle. The use of 1 single rag would go along way for their service team.Now if you have actual work done. There was no follow up or updates given when vehicle was there for multiple days of analysis for computer issues I had reported. You will need to call them for any communication if the car is there overnight.Upon my vehicle being picked up I had noticed the dashboard of my new truck damaged after they worked on the navigation system without fixing the issues. They did replaced the damaged piece the 1st time, then I had brought the truck back after reviewing the same issues with computer and navigation shutting down and they damaged the dash a second time in the same area. Simple lack of attention to detail. They told me they would replace and never did after multiple calls to their new service director Angelo. They had also lost my security lug lock needed to remove the wheels afteran inspection and never replaced it. Truly a lack of leadership, training and professionalism from the top down. All of the service ladies that answer the phone are always very pleasant and as helpful as they can be with the little details they are given. In understanding every business is struggling with quality help a little better training, communication and follow up would help Angelo and his service team. Hopefully this review helps them with truly giving VIP service in the future and the reader in making a quick decision on going elsewhere if you have an issue on the 1st service.

There was an undisclosed fee that wasn’t presented to me until after initial paperwork was signed and a deal had been agreed upon to. Hidden fees are trash, but to trust a saleman, spend time negotiating a price and still be let down is very frustrating. A $700 mistake was made and the best they could do to make up for it at first was to present me with a coupon for a month of free car washes. Lol. Plus when I voiced my displeasure, Geoff Rice could only insist on saying “Please dont let this affect the rating you give me” and went on to say he “needs 5 star ratings to maximize his end of year bonus.” He cared way more about his year end bonus than the mistake HE made on my car. A 5 star car was sold to me by a 1 star salesman.It was a coupon for 30 days of free car washes from “delivery date of vehicle.” I bought the car months ago but cashed in on the coupon yesterday and was promptly shut down and said it has to be “30 days from when the car was purchased.” The coupon did not clarify that. Even their coupons are misleading and filled with last second surprises. Sorry I did not think to a get a brand new car washed 30 times in January. My family has purchased 6 cars from this dealer in recent years. To them, I am positive that means nothing, but to us it made us feel we had a spot where we could trust people. We will never purchase a car here again and we will make sure anyone we know does the same.I wouldnt recommend Merrick Dodge or Geoffrey Rice to anyone in the market for a car. If you prove me wrong, I’ll happily admit my mistake and promise you a car wash coupon as a consolation

Just had the best experience with Ray, Greg, and the rest of the team at Merrick Dodge. No pressure, completely smooth process. Very transparent about pricing and fees and the financing. Definitely would recommend to my family and friends.

Set up an appointment for a specific car that I was interested in. They kept great communication with me throughout the day to confirm my appointment, and ask for an ETA MULTIPLE TIMES. However upon my arrival after almost a 2 hour drive I was informed that they failed to mention that the car had already been sold and delivered to its new owner. Don't waste your time like I did!

I can’t say enough good things about the dealership and its staff. Jean helped me purchase my first keep. He was so attentive and made the process so easy. He explained everything to me and showed me all the features my new jeep has. He really took his time and I couldn’t be happier with my new jeep. Definitely recommend this dealership and especially recommend having Jean help you.

Had the pleasure of working with Vinny, a pre owned manager at the dealership. Was treated extremely well. All my questions were answered honestly and without delay. I was given a great offer on my vehicle and was done with all paperwork in less than an hour. The process was smooth from my first call to the dealership to my same day appointment and the final sale of my vehicle. Highly recommend Vincent and his team and have already started referring all my friends and family to this dealership for their future purchases/sales. Will definitely be back in the future.

Jean was the best. We ended up buying 2 Jeeps. My daughter wasn’t sure she wanted one. Jean showed her one and it was love at first site. I trade in and got a super upgrade. If you need help go see Jean! The Best!

I had Merrick Jeep inspect the brakes on my 2018 Ram Limited on July 11,2023 ,which they cut down rotors and replaced pads,a few months earlier. Brakes were squeaking after using them a few months, after giving me every excuse they could think of so not to help me, Angelo the service manager had them take my truck in the back ,and they seemed to have fixed my brakes so they don't squeak and that I am thankful for. As i went to pick up my truck I noticed about a 3" scrape and gouge on one of my rims. One of the service writers took some pictures and showed the assistant service manager and advised me that she will have my rim fixed ,and she would get back to me. She called me the next day and said she didn't forget about me and for me to give her a week to get back to me. Surprised ,but never heard from her,so I gave her a call back and left a message for her on her voicemail on Aug.1, and Aug. 8th now and still no call back....I really never gave any kind of a review before but do not like being treated like this. Also had my eye on a Gladiator I saw there and was going to inquire about how much it would cost me to do so, not too sure anymore, and still waiting on filling out my Dealership Experience Survey ,would have liked to give all 10's, do not enjoy doing this at all, not fun...
