I had issues with one of the big companies doing my taxes. Everything was a mess, and nothing can be found. Joe was very helpful and patient. The service he provided was worth every penny and more. In previous years, my husband and I have done our own taxes as well as those of my parents, but this time we had some complications - I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida in July, my husband didn’t move until December, he was working in Virginia, first from Pennsylvania, then from Florida, stocks were bought and sold, my father passed away, and a farm was sold - So we definitely needed professional help this time! I did some research and found Joe at Professional Tax Services of Central Florida in Ocala. He was willing to take on this challenge and boy oh boy was he the right man for the job! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and happy to answer questions. We appreciated that he took the time to explain everything in a way that we could understand. He also took the time to research anything he wasn’t sure about and he even reached out to our local tax authority in Pennsylvania when necessary. His prices seemed very fair for all that he did for us, too. We feel so lucky to have found him and would absolutely use his services again. Thank you Joe!

I couldn't be more pleased with the tax services and counsel that I received from Joe Andretta. I was a new client this year and Joe took the extra time to discuss my past filings and the nuances that are unique to my situation. My back was against the wall, and didn't know what to do. To make a long story short, the state of Maryland had wrongfully taxed me on sale of my parents house. Being a residence of Florida since 2008 this was not legal. I consulted one one tax firm here in Florida for help. After over a year of going back and forth with Maryland, the situation only got worse. Maryland was threatening to close my case, therefor loosing my refund. I finally left this tax company and hired a local one, being Mr. Joe Andretta. Looking at the situation, he decided to start from scratch because it was so messed up. After a few days, he finished up and sent Maryland the renewed tax refund. Shortly thereafter, I received my refund. Praise The Lord, I was so happy and relieved. The fight was over thanks to Joe. He was professional, polite, and very thorough, with the tenacity of a wolverine.Thank you so very much Mr. JOE ANDRETTA. GOD BLESS.

I moved here from the Northeast and needed a new CPA. I found Joe through a letter he had sent for new residents to Ocala. I had him prepare my taxes for us for 2021 and he was prompt, great to work with, fair price and saved me a lot of money! He also advised me on a new business, assisted me with the LLC and the EIN numbers. I would recommend him to anyone needing tax services.

I reached out via email for a consultation and they left a very nice, professional voicemail. I called the same number back and Joe couldn’t be more annoyed to have to speak with me. I made it clear I was following up on their message regarding the consultation, that we were looking to have our taxes done, and we were really impressed with their site, and Joe just kept coldly responding “well you called me, what do you want me to do?” “What do you want?” and was audibly annoyed that I had the audacity to be bothering him with their advertised services.I usually expect professionals to treat potential clients with care and respect. If my business bothers you, then you don’t deserve it. Anyone looking to have their taxes done should go somewhere else.EDIT: Normally I think it's tacky to edit my reviews but I felt compelled to, given the unprofessional response from the business owner below. One would hope the response to this kind of review would be "we're sorry that you had this experience, it must have been a misunderstanding, please call us at (number) and we'll make it right." Instead the owner tries to discredit me, blankets it in sarcasm, and even remarks about how my phone number is out-of-state (you're aware people are allowed to move and retain their numbers, right?). This alone should tell you all you need to know about these "professionals". Stay far away.

Joe is always always looking out for you and your financial health. He takes his time to explain things to you if you don't understand something and works his hardest to make sure you are satisfied with the end results all the while checking up on you to make sure you are in shape for the following year. He's been doing my taxes for the past few years and I honestly cannot recommend him enough. Caring, Patient and knowledgable- you are sure to feel and know that you are in the right hands with him.
