Why do you hold certain dogs hostage for government funding?? This shelter needs to be investigated!!! This is unacceptable!! Every dogs need a loving home, they’re not your money tree! Why are there dogs there for over 5 years? Why are you not letting people adopt those dogs? Why are you not responding to adoption inquiries? This shelter is extremely sketchy! Someone please do something, report it, they need to be stopped! Their greed is disgusting

I recently adopted Atlas in December from this shelter, couldn't say nicer things about the staff there, Mike helped us the whole time with Atlas. Atlas has been there since April, I'm so lucky I adopted him hes such a loving beautiful young dog. He has brought alot of happiness to our family. And now Atlas has the life he deserves a loving family.

I would def recommend going here on weekdays only because it gets very packed on the weekends… other than that, we were able to adopt our dog, Wave, with ease. They neutered him and finished up his shots right before we adopted him. They gave us instructions on how to care for a shelter dog and provide food, leash and a cage. Paige was wonderful and we are so grateful he is a part of our family !

My indoor cat who recently developed neurological/vision issues went missing days ago and wound up here. I posted about him with Pawboost/Facebook and on Nextdoor. This shelter reached out and sent me a pic letting me know they had him! I went to reclaim him and it was a pleasant experience all around. Dave at the front desk was so patient and kind. My cat wasn't microchipped, so if the shelter never reached out I probably would have never known what happened to him. They went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough. Also it's a cute little shelter! Usually the town ones are industrial looking and depressing.Even if you have a "oh he never goes outside!" pet, PLEASE get them microchipped anyway.

Need to do something about the AC, they're too cold there and too high which is bad fornthe dogs and for us. ( the ac where the dogs are in create). Also if they have ear infection for example, after the treatment they have to make sure it's gone because the medication they're using for it doesnt work.Another things to make sure they dont have flea, they gave me my dog with fleas and spread to my other dog who is always at home and no contact with others dogs.
