This is now the second time in the past six months that Bottini has charged my card over $1000 without authorization and no delivery. We told Bottini that we will call them when we need oil. We’re above 3/4 of a tank and still charged us $1072.00!! And of course they take the money out on a Saturday when there’s no one there to help. I called up and the woman there was Rude and offered me no help and no information. What awful customer service!!!
Follow up: husband called and talked to Dana Who was absolutely the rudest person! Told us she didn’t know when the money was Going back to the account and we should call our bank to find out. What kind of customer service is this?!?!?
How can you reply that you will be contacting me when you don’t even have my information?

Customer Service is horrible. I spoke with Christina. She was nasty and rude. I simply asked her to repeat important information such as how much my card would be charged and she had a horrible attitude. This will be the last delivery that I get from Bottini because of it.

I was called for delivery last Friday I know my Propane is almost gone 15 % and I called them I told her the lady told me Thursday will come delivery I said really ? Cuz 15 % propane. She told me oh fine should be can last tow week should be ok that she told me I said ok if u say so , and today Wednesday 1/8 My heat stop cuz no more propane , all night very cold Freezing. Unprofessional It's very disappointing

They are the worst from simply going online for a refill of propane (I knew it was empty they called to try and tell me it wasn't) to now sitting for hours with no heat no idea when someone is showing up. I pay for service contract for nothing I guess. They send bills (even to the prior owner) for payment when there’s a credit card on file. I’m screwed since they installed a new boiler 2 years ago and changing providers is a headache. The communication from the office and the drivers is retarded at best. My propane went out, office said they have to light pilot on oven. I left work and raced home to find the truck on my street (dead end) I parked on my street they sped off and bill said fill and light pilot. Waited 2 hours for a tech pilot didn’t need lighting. It’s 47 degrees in my house waiting for 3 hours for a tech to fix it. I get shit happens but this is constant. I lose heat every year. My boiler is 2 years old cost 6k. Had to pay to move oil tank $5k I guess they install sub par equipment and rope you into service contract. Use anyone else of you have the option.

Just a truly terrible company all around. They do not care about delivery schedules, and repeatedly delivered to me WELL before the scheduled timeline just so they could bill me. Now that I'm moving out of this residence which I was renting, they sent a representative to my house not even 24 hours after I let them know that I would be closing my account and moving out as of the 31st of January. The representative informed me he was about to lock my tank because according to them, I no longer lived here, when I specifically informed them I would be here until the 31st and simply wanted to close my account preemptively so that it was one less thing for me to worry about. I will not be remaining a customer with them for these reasons and many more, including my closing communications with Cassaundra, who was rude, dismissive, and blamed ME for their shortcomings instead of apologizing. They are also extreme overpriced if you do some comparison shopping. All in all I am glad I am no longer forced to be with this predatory company that was going to HAPPILY keep the product I already paid for in the tank and even lied to me about being able to refund any of the cost until I insisted upon it. Shady, predatory, and greedy are the main words I would use to describe them and their policies and practices. Now I guess we will wait and see if they actually do refund the unused propane amount as they finally agreed to do, or if they try to further screw me over.

Bottini managed to replace my old furnace over the Christmas holidays with a new one. Great service.

The representive that answer the phones are extremely rude! They laugh at you and dont let you talk! Bottini you should train your employees better because one representive says one thing and the next one says another thing! First I was told I had an unpaid balance, then another representive told me they made a mistake! That I did not have to pay that balance because it was included in the budget plan, today I called and they told me i still had an unpaid balance they contradict themselves! And they get mad when you point out their mistakes! they have no idea what they are talking about!!! They dont even apologize!!! I have been a customer for 3 years already. And those ladies answering the phones are extremely rude as if they do not like their job! They dont even know what they are talking about and make you feel dumb! Terrible customer service they talk over you, they dont listen! I wonder what was funny to the lady i was talking to very unprofessional since you record phone calls go ahead and listen how that lady laugh at me and wont even let me talk! Thanks God I was transferred to a gentlemen who listened to me and was able to come up with a solution.

You place is trash!! The answering service reps are disrespectful and mean! I called at 11am and told them i have no heat, im supposed to be on a monthly plan when the automatically come once a month to fill me up, its been a month n a half..its 930pm still nobody has come to give me propane and not even a ETA! They will never get a penny from me again!! Trash company

Bottini fuel is the best! My heat wasn’t working and the absolute ANGEL of a technician they sent fixed it for us :) I called in a panic and they sent someone literally same day to come fix it. In the past with other companies it was always a headache trying to get them to come fix anything- not Bottini. They even called me the next day to follow up on the technicians notes about our boiler and see if anything else needed to be done. Seriously, 5 stars.

We couldn’t be happier with the service, professionalism and respect. We needed to have a house set up with propane tanks and new lines run into the house. They were efficient and honest. Would highly recommend!

As other people had mentioned their billing is absolutely horrid. We just purchased a home and paid $750 to previous owners as per bottini’s last reading estimating the remaining oil in the tank. we took a leap of faith and decided to continue doing business with them even thought we knew about the lawsuit for systematically defrauding customers, they were guilty and had to paid millions of dollars back. We were delivered oil without our consent or presence in the home and billed $589 just two weeks after we paid $750, so in less of 1 month I paid $1,339 in oil!!! I feel that they are going back to their overpricing practice and we are currently actively looking to find a better solution for heating. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Adding more to my previous review today 10/11/24 they came again without calling even though I had an email from John Hughes about they adding a call before service. Here we are again with their shady practices
Reviewing my review they continue to have unethical practices today 10/11/24 after I was told they will call me before any service to my home a tech came to deliver without my knowledge, see attached photo of the email I received from John Hughes back in April yet they did it again. Please anyone knows of an honest oil company in the Dutchess County?
