My self and my three kids have been customers for over 10 years… never had a problem.
Yes I make appointments, yes I leave work early to get to these appointments ON TIME. So when I get there at 5 for my oil change that was made a week ago, and I see many people waiting… I ask if I will be out by 6:15 , mainly because I have another commitment at 6:30. The gal who is in the front asks the gentleman in the back, she comes out and hands me my keys and says…sorry not today…. I have to think to myself why? Why is there so many people waiting, why is the front girl handing me my keys instead of trying to work things out? Maybe leave and come back? Maybe reschedule and apologize? Maybe communicate with your customers prior to your arrival…(call me and say hey we are running over an hour and half behind, can you come later?? Yes, I could have!! I could have stayed at work and finished my shift and not have to go back…at 6:30 because I left early to be there….and then sat and waited for my oil change; but instead i got, not today.
So i have decided after many years of dedication to Firestone; I asked for my records and she willingly with no hesitation printed them out. After 10 years I will give my business to Midas on route 9, which by the way they amazingly got me in for my oil change, plus I scheduled for 4 new tires today…which I needed badly, and it was cheaper then the quote at Firestone!
Firestone… I don’t blame the workers for being busy and doing their jobs… I do blame Firestone Corporate for not enforcing a communication policy with their clients to inform when they are an hour n half behind. Allow the consumer the opportunity to say let’s reschedule or is it possible for me to finish my shift and then head down??
Firestone…not every car that goes in the shop is an easy fix. We know things happen. Bottom line you want the money… you want the business… you want to work these fellas to no end…then hire more people to work or don’t be surprised and shocked at the reviews!

Please, do yourself a favor and take your car elsewhere. This place isn't worth it unless you're looking for a headache and an expensive list of "recommendations." My family, including my Dad who knows about cars, our mom, my brothers, and now myself, have been bringing our cars here for the past 5 years. However, we've consistently been called out on "recommendations." Most recently, we brought in my two cars for new tires. Despite complaining about past incidents, they overinflated my new tires to 45 pounds when the recommended pressure is 30 pounds. This seems like a simple task, doesn't it? Despite letting a few incidents slide in the past, we've ultimately decided not to return. To anyone reading this, I hope you can find a place or mechanic you can trust!

I went here and the Manager Anthony was fast and kind. Today I came back and the new manager Jason held the same standard. He was fast, kind and caring. When it comes to my mom car I have to be careful who works on my car. I have all these babies to keep safe and Jason made me confident that they would take good care of it, which they did. Thank you Firestone!

It is the closest NY state firestone where I can get my state inspections and other minor car repairs done using my firestone card.

Brandy at the front desk really gave me a plus one customer experience will definitely be returning for future services
Car was done in a timely manner and found something wrong with my car that 2 previous shops could not when I asked to find a noise I'd been hearing for a while

Have been going there since 2007, getting worse every time. 4-9-2024 had an appointment scheduled and was there at 8:45AM, (early) and now after 9:45 AM still did not take my truck in yet. I said give me my keys and goodbye. The manager said they were backed up again. That's no excuse, I had an appointment for over a week. Last time I waited 3 hours for oil and inspection. He was very rude. I left called Nissan and they did the work the next day in a half hour. Charge was $51.00. Firestone wanted $151.00.
Never will go there again, very sad for a local place to give such poor service to a longtime customer having serviced over 3 cars there, tires and all mechanical work. They need more people and a better management staff. First time I can say the dealer is a better place to go.

I first discovered Firestone down in Virginia where my daughter lived and I had a situation that they took care of to my complete satisfaction. So, I chose to give my local Firestone a chance to see if they lived up to the one in Virginia. LOL. Well, they did! And I am very pleased. Please know that I have been a customer of Mavis since I am 16 years old. I am now 58 years old and I am switching to Firestone. Please, please make sure that your staff stays the way that they are because with my Wappingers Falls, NY branch, I am quite happy. A tiny little glitch here and there over the past couple of years. Absolutely nothing to complain about or to get anyone in trouble about. I do ask that you keep your prices competitive and lower than my personal mechanic and Mavis. That helps a single mom/single homeowner out a whole ton! Even if it is just a few dollars. It matters. And your staff is very friendly. I truly enjoy dealing with them. Thank you. :)
Not going to lie. I was debating upon whether to give four stars or five stars. No one can be 100% all the time. So if I had the option, I would say 4 1/2 stars, for sure! I am not perfect! But I think I am at at least 4 1/2 stars. ? Ha, ha….
