I went to get fills and pedicures with my daughter yesterday. I finished before my daughter and decided to get my eyebrows waxed. In the waxing room the female was trying to get me to wax more than my eyebrows done. She basically waxed and used the tweezers about 10 pulls(hurt) all together and said okay. When my daughter saw my eyebrows she decided to wait to go somewhere else.On the way to the register Daniel said it was nice seeing us, it’s been a while and thanked us. We get to the register and our services came to $248. All five people that serviced us came to the register for tips as if we were about to get jumped. We left an additional $30 for tips. The female who did my eyebrows had the audacity to confront me and say “I did your eyebrows”. My daughter gives her $2. She rages in their language to all of the service people we tipped and the cashier. As they are all arguing about who gets what, not one Thank you or goodnight as we walked out! Very rude and entitled. Tips are optional and based on their service, how dare her demand a tip? She did nothing but give attitude for not purchasing additional services. My money spends anywhere, I will go where I’m appreciated.Services: Acrylic nails

Hit or miss. Been several times, had a smudge or nick in the polish as I left, twice. Went back for correction once. They come on a little strong trying to up-sell services. Fluorescent lights a little much. Save a few bucks by paying cash, but they don’t count carefully. Got wrong change. Could’ve stayed to argue, but the bills were tossed onto a pile of other bills on the open cash register drawer. Careless. Could’ve stayed to argue, not worth. Prefer elsewhere.Service: Pedicure

I love Wendy’s Nails in Wappingers. The only regret is not going there sooner. Very friendly, sanitary and always leave satisfied.

Was greeted nicely. Nail tech was somewhat inexperienced and burned my leg with the hot towel during my pedicure and my mother in law was burned with the hot stones during hers (these were 2 diff nail techs) Also, don’t take too long signing your receipt.. I got my copy thrown at me because I took my time to write out “cash” under the tip amount line. Not sure I’ll be back.

Would not recommend!!Gave one star because I had to, to be able to write a review but it's undeserving!!Today was by far the absolute worst manicure I have ever received from anyone anywhere!!! The technician removed my gel nail polish and repainted my nails immediately afterwards without even as much as brushing the nail dust off, never touching my cuticles, no crutical oil, no lotion, NOTHING more then using a dremel to remove my polish and filing my nails crooked and misshaping so badly that I cut my nails down when I got home! He filed my nails so intensely, it was as if he had a saw in his hand! When I questioned him and told him I didn't like the shape and that they were crooked, he acted as if he didn't understand what I was saying, even though he was speaking to me in very clear and perfect English just moments before! The owner came over and I explained the situation to her, she looked at my nails and all she said was "your finished" and walked away! They CHARGED ME FULL PRICE which I tried to explain that I didn't receive good service, again they acted as if they didn't understand what I was saying. I ended up paying for a horrible service and needless to say, I'm very disappointed in thecustomer service I received but more importantly, it's the lack of care from not only the nail technician but from Wendy herself!Shame on you!!! ?????Services: Polish removal

Went in and paid for the spa powder gel manicure and gel pedicure. It looked like a 2 year old did it. They didn’t even clean the polish off my fingers. Didn’t cut cuticles. Left it SUPER thick. Toes all uneven. No massage despite paying extra for upgraded services.. Went back the next day, they refused to fix until I caused a scene, then literally just put shiny polish over everything despite me paying extra $ for the matte the day before. Told me they were busy and next time “I give you someone good”. Got a gift card for my mom for the same thing I got, they also didn’t do any of the extra services we paid for by upgrading to the spa manicure and pedicure. Then charged her extra and couldn’t explain why. This place used to be good but now it’s a chop shop. They should be ashamed of themselves charging top dollar for horrifying work.Services: Dip powder

Beware! Call the department of health when you can! Disgusted and feeling let down. Very disappointed with their cleanliness, manicure procedures, and nail technicians. First experience was decent enough to return since it's conveniently located. Second experience I went in with a picture of exactly what I wanted. However, the nail tech kept trying to convince me what would look better so I finally gave in and trusted the "professional" but I ultimately left with a manicure I disliked. I decided I'd give them once last chance and went for a third time. They were very busy but tried to get me right in. I had asked for a basic gel matching Mani and Pedi. The pedicure was pretty good. The cleanliness seemed maintained. Afterwards, I got a different technician for the manicure. As soon as I sat down they were trying to start the polish without cleaning my hands or nails. They were so focused on upselling me like sharks on wall street. Confused me with Uv gel or gel without explaining the difference. Then wanted to charge me $65 for UV gel, without the other services provided in the advertising. Even tried to charge me more for those services. I didn't like how thick the UV gel looked but the tech said this better than regular gel. Well it's not when you like you natural nails. Side note, they painfully burned under the UV. My nails look too thick and lumpy. I expressed my concern, she filed them down but they're still far from looking natural. ? And not only do they try and take advantage of you with their wording and poor communication, they don't provide the service they advertise. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN MY HANDS OR NAILS PRIOR TO A MANICURE. WTAF? I just want to go to a nail salon for a basic gel manicure yet you can't even clean my hands....... No thanks, never again will you get my money !Services: Nail cut & filing

I’m extremely disappointed and upset with my nails. I went to get my nails done for Valentine’s Day (well before the actual day) and it was busy as I expected. It was my first time here and my friend had made an appointment for both of us together. We had to wait an hour after our appointment time, as I stated it was busy so I wasn’t too upset. After I finally got seen she sat down and started doing them. She never asked if I wanted acrylic or gel uv. I tried striking conversation but she really wouldn’t talk to me. I asked for a simple short almond with pink base and red French tip. She did decent with shaping however was rushing the painting process. Only one layer of polish for the base, which I’ve never seen before. In the end I paid NINTEY dollars. I figured it was just bc it could’ve been a more expensive location. As me and my friend left I asked how much she paid for hers. She only paid 75. And she got medium coffin with multiple colors and design. I was over charged and service wasn’t even that great. I was going to let it go until a week later in of the nails came off. I work as a cashier. I don’t do really anything that’s heavy on the hands. And my nails have air bubbles and signs of damage. I’ll never be coming again.

I use to go here do my nails and feet . Until I got fungus in my toes, and when I told the owner completely disregarded me . They are so busy there. I should’ve known better. Super sad because I love how Daniel does my nail. But I can go there when I know hygiene is not the priority and also the owner doesn’t care.

Don't waste your time. Spend $45 on pedicure and made an appointment. She never touch the back/ heel of my feet. Barely massage my legs and my regular nail polish chipped the next day. She ask me several time to get gel. I have calluses still on my feet. Too many people. Service has went down since they first opened. I drove a long way to come here never again

I’m giving this place 5 stars literally because of Leona. She is the best waxer I’ve ever had. It’s Hard to find someone who you trust that knows how to shape eyebrows the way you want them done, from the first time she ever did them she listened to exactly what I wanted and actually was able to do it perfectly, which is super rare. She also knows how to treat them afterwards instead of leaving them raw. Super talented gem, won my trust and loyalty. The rest of the place is good too. It’s not like super special but it’s good. I recommend.

Normally i’m not the type to complain and review, but my experience this evening at Wendy’s brought me to my breaking point. I made an appt. for myself and two friends at 3:30. We sat in the chairs for our pedicures at 3:40. First for 20 mins without water, then someone filled the water (no jets) and we continued to wait until 4:30. Then my friends and i got worked on for 10 minutes. I waited more time in lukewarm water than it took to give me what I payed for. Finally, one worker told my friend she had dry feet. I’m very disappointed in my experience and will not return.Service: Pedicure

All the workers are great! I have been going there for over a year and mostly use Cindy but Shelly is also very good. I never have to wait, love that!
