Worst Bank ever. They decreased my credit limit from 10k down to 2800 over 1 LATE payment in the MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC and reported I missed a payment and jacked my credit all up. Terrible business and Karma will get them. I have made every payment early and paid above the minimum payment and still haven't gotten an increase of even a dollar. Money hungry scoundrels. Never will recommend anyone here.

By far the worst bank I have ever had to do business with. Multiple commercial mortgage payments were automatically debited from my business account and its literally taken months to get it straitened out and its still not completely squared away. If the role was reversed and I did not make a payment on time I would have had to pay a late or worse. But when they screw up you are at their mercy and you get nothing out of it but a bunch of wasted time and aggrevation.

The worst banking experience of my life. I had an auto loan with Five Star Bank for little over a year and refinanced through another institution AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Their customer service agents are degrading and insulting. When confronted about how I felt I was being treated, they would cite my payment history as if that justified their attitude. Granted, I routinely fell in the 1-29 days past due but they did not have an online payment option to make making payments easier. I ultimately had to request no further phone calls. Then once I followed through with refinancing through a different institution, I received an overpayment check and letter where they added a “Jr” to my name. I called and spoke to Zack who stated I would need to submit paperwork verifying my name. I asked him to look into how the name change happened. He stated he was unable to. When I brought up using an audit trail, Zack confirmed that the name on the account was change earlier in the month. He still insisted I submit paperwork to verify my name and that it would take months to clear the cashier’s check once I paid to return it. Then once it was cleared, they would issue me a new one. Once I claimed they had committed fraud by changing my name, I was transferred to Tracy who then transferred me to Brooke. Brooke advised me to mail the check back and they would issue a new one. She stated she would look into it but that it was probably a clerical error and she would discuss it with the employee who made the change. I asked her to look into it and call me back. Guess what! She determined it was an innocent mistake. I may have believed that if not for the poor service I’d received throughout my time as their customer. Five Star Bank is the worst. I advise everyone to seek financial services elsewhere.

My wife and I have a car loan from them and were off by a few dollars and they call us and I said okay let me tell my wife and the guy on the phone said well if we don't have the right payment we will start the process for repossession I was like are you kidding me we've been on time with our payments for years and because it wasn't the right amount (my wife's bank error) you are going to reposses my car .... wow unreal and because the loan is from a bank not even in our area we can't and don't have the option to pay the loan online so we have to waste time and gas to go to our own bank get a money order and mail it out to them this is the worst bank I have ever seen at least with our other car we were able to go straight to the Hyundai website and make our payments (thank God that payment is done)they should make it where you can go to their website and be able to make payments etc and if you make a payment over the phone they charge you almost 15.00 dollars

Five star bank is the worst they just charged me for 2 overage fees when money is set to transfer on Thursday’s. But it Transfered on Tuesday when the funds weren’t available. They told me it wasn’t they’re fault even tho it’s a bank issue. I highly recommend choosing a different bank? Where should I do my banking now?

Terrible bank. I would not use them ever again. They refused to take a payment from me and then turned around and took my car. I complained and they falsified the information in their response to the BBB complaint. Then I posted a daily warning on ******** to warn other people against using them, and instead of fixing the problem they blocked me from posting on social media. Please beware this is a blank of Five Star Thieves. I give them zero stars. Customer service reps are rude and obnoxious as hell. This bank is nothing but a headache and gives fraudulent service.

The single worst bank I've ever done businesses with. My debit Card has been shut off multiple times, I've been put on hold for hours, making payments is always a hassle. All aspects of FiveStarBank is laughable at best. Not to mention the tellers & accountants are unprofessional & completely clueless in their field of work.

I have had over 10 auto loans in my life and can honestly say Five Star Bank does not even deserve 1 star. To start off there online banking is out of the 1990's. Could never get it to work to make payments. My wife and I fell one payment behind and worked out a agreement with them to add the payment on to the end of the loan which would make us current and we could continue with regular monthly payments. We made every payment after that timely. They started charging us a 10.95 fee to make payments, and they never honored there agreement with our one missed payment with adding it on to end of loan, instead They reported us to the credit bureaus that we were over 90 days late with payments sending our score dropping from 750 to 590. In the end I sold off stocks and paid off the entire loan in under 2 years instead of the 6 year term it was for. They charged another 10.95 fee for paying off the entire balance of $39,000. My only satisfaction is they will no longer earn any interest from us and I will write bad reviews everywhere and am filing a complaint with the attorney general.
